Perfekt

Alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und trotz der Coronazeit alles perfekt. Das Zimmer war sauber und gross genug auch für meinen Landseer :-) Das Personal war nett und hilfsbereit! Alles in allem perfekt!!

The pictures of the hotel shows the castle restaurant as representative of the hotel....and it was not the same at all. The actual hotel is in another building across from the actual castle restaurant and looks like a warehouse building. It was stated that the hotel had air-conditioning but when we asked to with to a room with air-conditioning we were told that they have no such rooms due to the fact that the building is too old to allow that kind of installations....it was very hot indeed! Outside the hotel they had put up a grill/drinks street restaurant that attracted a lot of noisy people and as we had a room on the 1st floor and HAD to have the window open (no air-conditioning...) it was very disturbing even after closing hours since the people stayed after closing hours. Another detail, not really important, they claimed to have a library and when we asked where it was we were pointed to a bookshelf next to the reception...not really a library...the bathroom had no hooks for towels and that was a bit difficult when we had showered and wanted to dry them for the morning shower. The breakfast was completely OK, not exceptional but OK.

Sauberes gut angebundenes Hotel

Gemütliche saubere Zimmer in ruhiger Lage. Zwei Sbahn Stationen in direkter Nähe. Das Frühstücksangebot lies keine Wünsche offen und das Personal war stets sehr freundlich.

Bon rapport qualité-prix

Nous cherchions un hôtel un peu au calme, loin de l'agitation de la gare et surtout proche de la résidence de nos amis. Mission accomplie avec cet hôtel ! Le mobilier est peut-être un peu basic mais tout y est... confort des lits, propreté des chambres, petit-déjeuner buffet salé-sucré. Bon café également. Nous reviendrons pour un court séjour.

it seems that most properties in europe are leaning towards false advertising and deceptive practices. this property does not have air conditioning unless you consider an oscillating fan a/c. once we checked in a realized it didn't have a/c they wouldn't allow us to check out without penalty. save your money and look elsewhere.

Zimmer sind ok, sauber und zweckmässig. Ab 17:00 Uhr an einem Sonntagabend ist niemand mehr anwesend bzw. der Schlüssel wird deponiert. Leider fehlten die Handtücher. Parkieren kann in der angrenzenden Tiefgarage gratis.

Ruhiges Hotel in Stadtnähe

Das Hotel ist in unmittelbarer Nähe einer Tramhaltestelle. Wir konnten erst spät einchecken und haben vorgängig per Mail einen Code für den Zimmerschlüssel erhalten. Die Zimmer sind zweckmässig eingerichtet und schön. Das feine Frühstück kann auch draussen genossen werden. Die Mitarbeitenden sind hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich.

Historic castle

Schloss Binningen is an historic castle in a quiet sbuburb or Basle, well-served by tram and 'bus. The rooms are simple and open, which pleases me. The breakfast is good. The restaurant in the castle is very good: short menus, and well-chosen wines. The service is attentive but not intrusive. Nothing in Basle feels affordable, but it is pleasing.
