"An old industrial portside area that has been completely rebuilt and which is still getting expanded. It's a pleasant area to walk through and enjoy seeing the busy portside activity - ships coming and going, cargo being loaded and unloaded. If the weather turns unpleasant you can wait it out in the very pleasant hotel lobby, and there's the M4 Metro line stop 3-4min walk away from the hotel (oh and there's an umbrella service available by the entrance at the lobby - just swipe ypur keycard). There's also the water ferry stopping right next to the metro stop - metro is very quick and lets you get into the city in a snap, but the ferry will take about an hour to go all the way through all the stops to the other end of Copenhagen, just note that while the metro stop is indoors area with roof cover, the ferry stop isn't (some of the stops later in it's route do have roof cover tho). My trip was very pleasant and in fact I will be returning here in the near future to get to experience some attractions I didn't get to or didn't have time for."

"Amazing privately-owned hotel, centrally located in Malmö and teeming with history. Restored and maintained with care, mixing modern convenience with centuries-old facilities. Everyone working at the hotel was friendly, engaging and did everything to enhance the stay. Would stay there again in a heartbeat! "

"Stayed 5 nights in April. Arrived late by Oresundståg train from CPH airport on a Sunday night so was pleased to see the hotel just across the street and canal from Centralstation. Top marks for location! I had a small double room on the 5th floor at the back, with "views" of the hotel's inner courtyard at the back, hence v quiet. Room was fine for me - could be a struggle for couples as wet/bathroom space especially limited. No wardrobes or drawers for storage, just a clothes rail with approx 6 hangers, which was fine for a short break. Multi-channel TV. One bedside cabinet and a few sockets for charging. Good breakfast daily (6.30-9.30 weekdays) in a nice light Ikea-esque room on the 2nd floor. Usual continental fare, with some cereals and milk, a coffee machine, concentrated juices (not fresh, unfortunately), and bread/rolls with cheese and ham, boiled eggs, liver patê, toms, cucumber and gherkins. Tiny croissants and jam. Fine to set you up for a day's walk etc. The bread counter could be extended, though, as it can be very busy with queues some mornings... Another big plus was the fact you could help yourself to the coffee machine in the breakfast room all day as no kettle in your room. As I said, location is key - 5 minutes walk to touristy Lilla Torg with coffee shops, bars and restaurants, beautiful church of Sankt Petri Kyrka, plus a nearby Lidl for handy provisions. 10 mins walk to some wonderful parks (Kungsparken) and a lovely peaceful cemetery. "Staff friendly ,she let me check in early when we arrived early no charge, room is big ,look nice and clean, comfortable bed. Kitchen and dining room look nice and clean, the hostel near shopping mall and train station, easy to walk to the centre, the suppermarket underneath near by. Excellent place to stay"

"Room was very small (think small cruise ship room) but was very clean and certainly adequate. Had everything we needed. Easy 5 minute walk to 2 different metro stations, and many of the local sites in Copenhagen. Also had lockers for us to store our luggage after we checked out so we could tour longer the day of our departure. Would stay here again!"
