"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"This resort is a beautiful hidden gem in Salema. Everything was perfect. The people are so friendly. Our room was cleaned everyday and we were shuttled everywhere with a quick call to the main reception, free of charge. It was quite the service. The ocean was beautiful. "We absolutely loved the house, location and the host was very good at communication. We recommend this home if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation. The foosball table provided a night of competitive family fun! We recommend walking through the town although it is quite hilly. We recommend the Carrapateira Museum, exploring the quiet village and the hike to Praia de Bordeira about 20 mins. The Microbar in town had great food and service. Pizza Pazza was a short drive and worth it. "
"Step back in time in this little village near the coast. Each little apartment has a living space, bathroom and a well equipped kitchen which includes microwave oven, stove and Smeg espresso machine on the main floor with winding steps up to a loft with a comfortable bed. The restaurant has a great chef with lots of homemade Portuguese dishes. We highly recommend this place.
