Quiet environment with easy walk to the Sporties Club for a meal. Very comfortable room and nice surroundings, although we didn't use the pool or BBQ area this stay

At check-in, no staff where on hand, so despite leaving a key, we had no wi-fi for the first day at the property. The room is nice, but needs a good cleaning.

Just a short walk to the Club
Loved our stay at Bullanginya Lodge. The bed was a little hard for us but the room was clean and there were electric blankets on the bed which made us very cosy. A special treat was Miss Rosie the cat who came to visit us. A small bit of mould in the shower but over all pretty good. The large grass area would be great for kids to play and the trees were home to beautiful birds in the morning. It would be nice to have the WIFI password in the room as by the time we got back to the room it was too late to bother reception fro the code. Tea and Coffee was provided and small cartons of milk. The hotel is just over the road from the Sporties club which is the best club in the area. The price was excellent and well worth the money. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice quiet spot walk to golf club and sporties club, good sized rooms kitchenette was a bonus for cooking lite meals, nice area for relaxing, a little dated but great value for money stay

Lovely spot to stay in country nsw.
Great spot close to club & pub. Owner dan was very welcoming. Room very clean and bed very comfortable. Air cond hit the spot perfectly given it was very warm whilst staying there. Go pies!

Great location
Overall Bullanginya Lodge was satisfactory but there were two problems I had with the facilities during our stay. First, the queen-sized bed was firm-ish (which is great) but lumpy (not great), indicating that it was a very, very well-worn mattress and needed replacing. The first night I found it hard to sleep and woke with a sore back. The next night i slept on one of the single beds, which was lovely and firm, although my legs hung over the end, so they were obviously meant for children and people under 6 feet. Secondly, the towels supplied smelled eggy or like dirty dogs. They may need to change their fabric softener or something. Finally, when I went into reception, there was a cat litter box on the floor against the wall and bits of litter were strewn on the floor around the box. First impressions are important and seeing something like that doesn’t inspire confidence in cleanliness. Apart from these few gripes, our stay was comfortable. The air conditioner in the room was very effective on the two 39 degree days that we were there and the staff, a married couple with a family, were warm and friendly. Note to readers: there was no option for “maybe” in the “would you recommend” selection. If there were this is what I would suggest. We’re they to update their mattresses and ensure that the towels were more pleasing smelling, I would give the motel 7.5 out of 10. Based on my stay, I can only give them 4.

Thanks Craig. The queen bed in that unit was later found to have been damaged - the supporting structure had been broken by young guys play-fighting. It has been mended now. The linen & towels are cleaned professionally offsite, so I can't explain what has happened here? The cat was temporarily inside until it was old enough to move outdoors. The kitty litter has followed the cat into it's outside home.

Set in a huge lawn area with a lovely pool and BBQ, the unit had a large main room with separate bedroom, 4 person table and chairs and good size kitchenette and complimentary drinks in the fridge. Cooked breakfast was available and good value with 2 sausages, bacon and eggs on toast for $14.00. The Sporties Club is about a 200 meter walk for evening meals etc.

Convenient and quiet.
Delightful and private garden area for units alongside accommodation block. Units a little time worn, but management very courteous and obliging, and clearly in process of upgrading facilities. Rooms meet all requirements, though would like to see tea and coffee upgraded on a regular basis.

older style motel good facilities
Basic older style units but good facilities and walk to clubs. Really good value and added touch of a couple of "coldies"in fridge to quench thirst after long drive! 2 BD units give good space to relax inside & out around pool.

Nice little hotel
Spent a night here and despite the age of the building I was surprised to see the room in such good condition. Air Cond worked well and was quiet, location in Barooga is ok as its close to the pub, supermarket and sports bar but not to close to be annoying. I would recommend this place
