Within easy reach is the beautiful North Devon coastline, perfect for those classic beach days surfing, kite surfing or coasteering. The popular beaches of Croyde (12.5 miles), Woolacombe (13 miles) and Saunton (10 miles) are all within easy reach. Nearby Ilfracombe (11 miles) offers sea safaris, trips to Lundy, and a wealth of shops and galleries, and Barnstaple (3 miles) provides a range of leisure facilities and shops, and both have a wide choice of eateries. Exmoor Zoo and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park are both within 10.5 miles, with the quieter Broomhill Sculpture Gardens and National Trust's Arlington Court 2 miles and 7 miles away respectively.

This charming cottage is quietly situated at the end of a private no-through lane. Upon entering the beautiful accommodation, you are greeted with a hall – the perfect place to hang coats and store sandy shoes. From here, head upstairs to a light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. There is a comfortable seating area, which is made for relaxing, with a TV and DVD player and comfortable seating. The kitchen area is well equipped and is perfect for rustling up some home-cooked meals. Heading back downstairs, you will find two bedrooms: a master king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a triple bedroom with a double and a single bed and an en-suite shower room.

Head outside and you will find a shared courtyard garden with outside seating, which is a lovely spot for your morning coffee. This property boasts many shared facilities with the highlight being an 11m-long indoor heated swimming pool for your enjoyment with a changing room, a shower and a WC. Alongside the main pool is a toddler pool. This area is 0.65m deep (just over 2ft), where those who can't swim unaided can be supervised safely. Both are heated to a comfortable 26-28°C. Within the pool house, there is a sauna cabin for those who enjoy warming up before plunging into the pool. Place £1 in the coin box to get 20 minutes of heating. If you just want to chill out, slip into the hot tub, perfect for relaxing and letting your troubles drain away. This is heated to approximately 37°C. £1 will give you 10 mins if you want bubbles and jets. Guests can enjoy the freedom to roam 8 acres of lawns and fields or find the perfect hideaway spot for a cream tea picnic amidst glorious views. There are also miles of beautiful footpaths across the ancient Devon countryside right from your door. There is a children's play area, a safe play space with swings, a slide and climbing holds. In case beach tennis is not enough, guests can enjoy the real thing on the all-weather court (rackets and balls are available in the games room). Completing the shared facilities is an indoor games room for the young and young at heart with table tennis, a pool table (50p per game) and table football.
