Guests can make the 2 mile drive to the market town of Barnstaple, where you can explore its shops, restaurants, pubs, cinema and theatre. Visit the village of Instow (4.5 miles) with its beach, sand dunes, restaurants and pubs. Cyclists can journey along the Tarka Trail while hikers can enjoy a day exploring the wilds of Exmoor. Surfers and sunseekers can check out the beaches at Croyde, Saunton and Westward Ho!, all within 12 miles. Guests can also enjoy the family attractions of The Big Sheep, Arlington Court, The Milky Way, Tapeley Park and RHS Rosemoor Gardens, all within 16 miles.
Entering the property via the kitchen door, once inside you can see the thought that has gone into making this a comfortable and stylish retreat. The layout is open plan and has a lounge/kitchen/dining area. There is a breakfast area with a table and seating for four, plus a breakfast bar and stools for two. The kitchen area is equipped with everything you need and there is also a handy ground-floor WC. Heading up the stairs to the first floor leads you to the two bedrooms, one with king-size bed and the other having a double. Both bedrooms have their own en-suite shower room with WC, so ideal for couples wishing to holiday together or families.
Outside, the property has a small patio area with seating zoned off by thoughtful planting and is accessible from the bi-folding doors. There is also a grassy area opposite the property which is yours to enjoy and where there is further seating and charcoal BBQ ideal for those warmer evenings.
