"I had always wanted to stay at Hadleys since I'd treated myself to their wonderful High Tea a few years earlier in the gorgeous atrium. I recently stayed in the Victorian Suite and it was a superb experience. I felt transported to another time by the lobby music. The suite was beautifully appointed, so comfortable and warm on a chilly day. The Orient Bar was a lovely place for pre-dinner drinks with a perfectly made Tommy Margarita during happy hour. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of hot dishes with eggs to order. The new artworks displayed on the ground floor were a pleasure to view. The staff at Hadleys were all highly welcoming and professional and very helpful in explaining parking off site. I can't wait to come back. Great value for a top class hotel."

"A full breakfast was delivered to our room which had plenty to share between my wife and I. Excellent in every way. Two restaurants, both were also excellent. The char grilled steak was to die for. Room was immaculate with a magnificent view of snow capped Mt Wellington from the 5th floor. "

"We really enjoyed our 4 night stay, comfortable bed. We were upgraded because of night road works to a kingsize bedroom, which was great. Location 8s perfect to walk anywhere in town. We would recommend highly "

"Great location, close to restaurants and cafes. Hotel did not have its own restaurant. Bathroom is very modern and beautiful, but furniture and elevator were somewhat dated. Good size room, and bed was clean and comfortable. Instructions for the coffee machine did not seem match with how the machine actually worked. I had to do some trials and errors to get it working."

"Hotel was lovely very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely old building. Only problem was the heating in our room was not working, but staff quickly brought us a heater for our room. Loved their happy hour drinks. Would have preferred to have breakfast included in cost and not à la carte."
