We've stayed at this property several times now, and there are plenty of reasons we keep coming back. Beyond the natural beauty of the surrounding area, the well-maintained and cozy craftsman home, and convince to Pigah (not quite this trip with the park roads/bridges missing from the hurricane), the owner is both a pleasure to work with and very patient with my two young daughters who are in awe of the horses around the property. We were so comfortable and the farmhouse was just perfect! The only thing missing from the amenities list is the satellite/cable. There is none. There is a smart TV. Loved our stay and had a wonderful traditional Thanksgiving Dinner cooked in the Farmhouse kitchen. The surroundings and location were so wonderful. Just a quiet, pleasant, comfortable place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. And our granddaughters loved the swings hanging from the big pine in the yard. Jay and Ann are perfect hosts. The location is easy to find and convenient to creeks, mountains, and hiking trails. The animals on the property are charming and friendly. It was a great family weekend celebrating the proposal by our son Nicholas, to his girlfriend Sarah, on Sunday at the Biltmore in Ashville. Happily she said, "YES." Hiking trails were a bit difficult to locate from the house. Once we found one, it ended quickly and impassable in the rushing creek.
