"House was just as described. Lovely tropical garden with beautiful views. Easy access to Los Llanos, and roads to the caldera and through the tunnel to Santa Cruz. Weather better on this side of the island. We appreciated the bowl of fruit on arrival."

The cave is very cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. We felt very much at home. Grit, our host was very helpful and easy going. It's a great base for trips and hikes, but you definitely need a car. The steep road down to the property is a bit of an adventure, but you get used to it."

"Buena Vista is gorgeous! The property is situated in gardens overlooking the Atlantic, catching the rising sun for breakfast and the setting sun highlighting the windmill in the west of the in the evening. The style is local and simple, with an imaginative decor . The hosts greeted us like old friends and arranged a birthday cake for my husband and horse riding up in the mountains. We enjoyed their company! The only negative comment was that the swimming pool was not functioning but we believe...

"We stayed for a week in this lovely rental. It is probably the most relaxing holiday-let that I have ever stayed in. All of us were happy just to spend time in the garden, with so many areas to find our own favourite space. The garden is full of wildlife - birds, reptiles and bats The colonial style house is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. Best pillows ever! The owners were very quick to respond to all of our queries. We all loved staying there."

Auch die Einrichtung ohne jegliches überflüssige Details hat uns überzeugt. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Im Garten gibt es bequeme Liegen zum Genießen...

"Well, that view!!! It’s stupendous. You won’t find a better one on the island. My friend and I spent many happy hours watching the waves crash in (storm out at sea, we presumed) and really didn’t want to leave to catch our flight home. The house itself is even nicer than in the photos, very clean, welcoming and modern. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is a real bonus. The kitchen has everything you might need, except a decent kettle (the one provided looked to us like a keep-hot jug)....

Inventaris (wijnglazen b.v.) voor meer dan 4 personen beperkt, deels gedateerd, maar de eigenaren maken dat goed door vriendelijkheid, fruit en wijn bij aankomst, nà 1 week schone handdoeken en beddengoed, 2x p/wk zwembad reinigen. "The location close to the new lava flow and the closure of many important roads made getting about very challenging. Most of the local restaurants and shops were closed post covid and the eruption and not knowing this in advance meant we couldn't properly plan for this. However, the villa itself, and Carmen whom I met briefly, were fabulous. Amazing views and just about everything you could imagine you would ever need was in the villa. "What a stunning place to stay! There was a real sense of peace and tranquility in and around the hotel during my 3 nights. The gardens are absolutely beautiful. My apartment had everything I needed and the receptionists were very helpful. Two things to consider: There's no air conditioning which wasn't too big an issue in December but may be over the summer. In addition, there's not much in the way of soundproofing between apartments which meant I was woken up at 7am each morning by the people...
