Barlby with Osgodby Holidays from £148

The car park is quite far from reception and all the signs don’t really make sense. Check in was handing me a key after having to call a mobile number that had been left on the desk. No further information like how to get to the room and breakfast. Room was really far away and I had to carry lots of personal items and was a struggle. I paid for late check out to midday and had people knocking on the door at 10.30 asking why I was still in room. Room was clean, slept well and lounges at hotel good.

We had to request for the room to be cleaned properly.

Everything was perfect. Clean, comfy, quiet rooms. The only thing I would improve is that checking out on a Sunday morning at 10am felt a bit early, as we obviously have to get up earlier to shower, pack up and have breakfast. 11am would have been a lot better. The breakfast was also excellent, which is why we didn’t want to rush it. But I personally like to brush my teeth after breakfast, so we couldn’t check out till I’ve done that and that made everything feel a bit early. Great pub to dine at, big screens were perfect outside for people to watch the world cup. We went for a wedding at the Lemonroyd marina and it was a very convenient location for that too. Overall, it’s a lovely pub and accommodation.

So I stayed here before and I just had to stay again. The hotel is decent the food is delicious I had the fish and chips the first night and my god that fish was tasty nice and crispy I also tried the chilli beef with rice honestly it was so good the desert menu is great too it’s a decent hotel the bar also for drinks has a great selection there is something for everyone the porn star martini are something else loved it all
