"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"We stayed at the property for 7 days and it was wonderful. Superb location, near everything but also very tranquil. The property was lovely, clean and tidy and had everything you would need (toilet paper, shampoo, sun cream, washing up liquid, tea and coffee etc, and Filomena also left lovely biscuits and some delicious wine her that friend had produced. "It is a beautiful and scenic hotel with wonderful views that is large enough to find quiet spaces if you are an adult without kids but also seems to accommodate children very well. Breakfast is excellent and the staff at the hotel are friendly and attentive. The concierge Ines was so helpful if arranging boat excursions, dinner reservations and car rentals. The property is walking distance to town and also to many other beaches. An excellent choice for staying in this area"
