Lovely hotel on a lovely property. Very quiet and comfortable. We had a junior suite and it was spacious and perfect for relaxing. The restaurant was quite good, and we truly enjoyed our meals there.

9.4/10 Exceptional! (609 reviews)
I've been staying at the Conservatorium regularly for 12 years now, and it is remarkably consistent: great location, awesome people, striking architecture, and the best gym of all the 5-star hotels in Amsterdam.
This year, though, there was one welcome change and one not-so-great one: the breakfast has improved, with the addition of a buffet, which is convenient. But they also seem to have started letting local residents use the gym, so it's now super-packed at all hours, and you have to wait for machines.
The gym has always been a big part of why I stayed there, so that's disappointing.

8.2/10 Very good! (45 reviews)
"I chose this hotel because it suited my travelling plans. I know a little about the area, people come to cycle and walk through the surrounding forests but I couldn't partake in any activities because I was in transit. The hotel has no lift, thought it shows a restaurant in the description I understood ..."
