"We had difficulty initially to get into our room. A couple phone calls to the owner that lives out of town cleared that up. No staff on site.
The kitchen was great! Well stocked. Clean. We couldn't find a place in town that made lobster dinner so we bought all the fixings to make ourselves a dinner at the hotel. It was so handy! Lots of coffee available for the morning. The rooms are not sound proof so it's quite noisy and there's a lot of light entering room from around the door. Over all, a good stay."
"Bed in room 111 was amazing says king but my king at home isnt that big !! Room clean no smell at all in hotel, beakfast was good and included. only down fall is restaurant isnt always open. Great staff quick with any ask you have .. Reallly great stay .."
"was hard to find as the street #s made no sense. We had to stop and ask someone. The cottage itself was nice but freezing when we arrived and took at least 2.5 hours to reach a warm temperature. My friend traveling with us did not take her coat off until we went to bed. You cannot drink the water, the internet was not working, there is no television. There was no where open to eat. We tried neighboring Trinity (which we stayed before and had a lovely experience) but everything was closed. There was a little convenience store open so we got some water and sandwiches. I decided to try this place just because I had previously stayed in Trinity and wanted to try a different area. Description of this place was rustic however it should have said remote. There are bugs but apparently not harmful ones. Bottom line is we were not happy with this place as it did not meet our expectations. Host was very responsive and sorry we were unhappy but when we had said we would not stay the second night and had to book a hotel there was no reimbursement. Her reasoning was that someone else could have booked. She also asked me to cancel the second night booking asap but as we had no internet we could not do it. This is definitely a drawback of booking through Vrbo, if you are not pleased with the accomodation there is no recourse for reimboursement. We had to pay for the night we did not stay and then the hotel room."

"If you are looking for a “Rustic Farm”style meets “Old English Cottage” then this is the place complete with amazing harbour views and quaint sitting areas inside and out. The waterfalls in the backyard sounds very calming as you relax or read any of the hundreds of books thru out the home. One of a kind home you have experience to appreciate."
"Just spent 2 nights at the Killick!
It was fabulous. Extremely clean. Our hostess Darlene was very fast responding to questions. Very spacious! Loved our stay very much. "
