"This was our second time staying here. We love the location and the amenities provided. Paul and Gabriel are both so helpful and accommodating. The upstairs apartment is clean and bright, and with so many windows in all the rooms, the cross breeze keeps it cool at night. Loved waking up to coffee on the small deck, and watching the birds and monkeys, even the chickens. We had a car, so getting around was no problem, but it is walkable to a beautiful beach, restaurants and groceries. God willing, we will be back again. We have been to Barbados many times, but this is our favorite place to stay. A local neighbourhood with friendly people. Feels very safe, and we couldn’t be happier with the apartment."

"Everything was perfect. The villa was unbelievable, so much outdoor space, gorgeously decorated ! And the view was spectacular, really hard to describe. The ocean view and then surrounded by a beautiful garden . It was so private and got to see monkeys every morning. The hosts Sue and Dave were perfect, so warm and welcoming. Luved them! We also were well taken care of by her team. Really I can’t say enough. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. "

"The pros: the apartment was easy to find. Check in was easy. The owner is responsive.The cons: The air conditioning is rationed and limited to a single common room. It is on a motion censor that does a terrible job of detecting people. It cut out on us several times even though several of us were sitting right there in front of it. The bedrooms rely on floor fans but if you're a couple, closing your door is very uncomfortable because the heat and humidity will collect. Upon arrival, it was obvious the unit had not been prepped for visitors. The floors and walls were wet because the unit had been closed up. The beds were made & towels provided but the towels in the master were dirty. The towels in the master closet smelled heavily of body oder. I did reach out to the property owner about this but i was told their housekeeper provided clean items already.The shower remained cold. No one in my party had a hot shower. My youngest refused to shower at the unit after her second cold shower so we sent her to her uncles around the corner from where we stayed. Final thoughts: we stayed for 5 days, paid nearly 1000 and couldnt use the garden area (cramped & not suitable for parties of my size), take a hot shower or even have consistent air conditioning. We enjoyed our stay in Barbados because we spent so much of our time visiting family.If you have no family in the area and no means to travel the island on your own, seriously reconsider your options. "
