The property is well kept. Two dislikes one was food and other was smoking . The resort needs to designate smoking areas for those who smoke for it impedes in the health and well-being of the non-smokers .

my husband and I went for a parent only trip and we absolutely loved the resort, it was very clean and everyone was super helpful and attentive to our needs. we stayed for 4 days and we wished we could have stayed longer. Wish there was more bar tenders by the pool as at times you waited a bit for your drinks but with the amazing views of the beach from the bar I don't thik anyone really noticed! we would definitely choose to stay here again it forced you to stop and just take in the beauty of this beautiful country!

We had a great stay at Bahia Principe Grand La Romana. The resort was very clean and well maintained, which made everything feel comfortable right away.
The food selection was excellent. There were so many options at the main buffet that we didn’t even feel the need to make reservations at the restaurants.
The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s also a very quiet and relaxing place, especially at the beach, which we really enjoyed.
The only things to note are that the beach water isn’t clear and there are no waves it feels more like a calm lake than the ocean. Also, the shower hot water takes a little while to heat up.
While we were there, we didn’t see any jellyfish, but we also only went to the beach a couple of times.
Overall, a nice and relaxing experience.
