I use it at least twice a year, so will be back soon. We’ve tried all room types over 20 years at Val Moret but this is our favourite so far (already booked for next 3 visits). Reception lady was very helpful and attentive. This is a really good travelling stopover choice. The restaurant is consistently very good. Menu choices are seasonally varied and of a high standard. Presentation is excellent, flavours well balanced and varied. Desserts are always amazing. The waiting staff are professional and attentive. This restaurant punches well above its weight. Always have Champagne with your meal. This was our second stay here so this should speak for itself. Easy walking distance to the small town of Bar sur Aube where you have ample places to buy bread and meats etc. also close by are a number of champagne houses offering tastings and again walking distance. The accommodation had a pool which was very welcome given the hot weather. Only slight disappointment was the absence of a barbecue. Would have been ideal. Other than that the accommodation was comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. This is not a gripe but the shower needs fixing!"
