This home built in 1905 got a complete makeover in 2017. It has been updated into this attractive, captivating and beautiful home. It is in located in the heart of downtown Village of Bar Harbor and on a quiet side street.
The home was thoughtfully planned and furnished with super comfortable mattresses. The hard wood floors have been beautifully restored. It has a covered front porch, balcony and plenty of space for the vacationing family. In a tenth of a mile from this home you will find plenty of restaurants, shopping, whale watching excursion, puffin excursion, kayaking trips, three-masted schooner excursion to just name a few. Your cars can remain at the property while you take the free Island explorer shuttle to access the rest of the island. Access to the a few entrances to Acadia National park are about couple miles from this home.

FIRST FLOOR: Entryway leads to a Living Room with new furnishings and flat-screen TV with cable premium channels. It has plenty of seating and lighting. Master bedroom with King bed, flat screen TV (with cable premium channels) with its own private full bathroom. Brand new kitchen with all new steel appliances. Dining Room with table set up for six with one leaf to increase seating for up to eight people. Half Bath in hallway. Washer and Dryer.

SECOND FLOOR: Bedroom one with King bed. Bedroom two with Queen bed. Bedroom three with Queen bed, Bedroom four with a Queen sleeper sofa with flat screen TV (for gaming, netflix etc). Two full bathrooms.

OUTDOOR: Front covered Porch with wood table and chairs. Propane Grill in the back off the kitchen. Balcony of the second floor bedroom. Parking for 4 cars.

Wonderful family vacation

This was my second stay at this beautiful and well stocked home. It is so convenient to so many shops & restaurants as well as Acadia National Park. We loved walking by the bay and took a couple of nature excursions. Highly recommend this property

We were really pleased with this property. The house is very nice. Everything was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well supplied. The location is perfect for exploring Bar Harbor. Everything is walkable. We would definitely stay there again.

Great stay!

Fantastic Stay in Bar Harbor

The house is great. The location is on a quiet street and the house is an easy walk to anywhere in town. The house was clean, and very well equipped -- especially in terms of kitchen and cooking needs. We enjoyed our stay and recommend the house. Also, it has a very nice front orch for relaxing. We were eight people and the house was comfortable for us.

Fall Trip

The property is everything that is said in reviews and more. So much nicer than pictures and a perfect location. We were able to walk to get dinner every night. If we are ever back in Bar Harbor we will definitely be staying in this house.

Family gathering

This property was perfect for us (in our 70s) and our daughter and family (2 year old son). This house is spacious, clean, updated enough to have the amenities you need, exceptionally well stocked. There were even puzzles and a t ball set that the 2 year old could enjoy. Communication with Veena was excellent. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Stay - Beautiful Area

Beautiful, comfortable home with all the conveniences needed. We were happy to see a lobster pot so we could steam fresh lobster. The location is ideal; 2-3 blocks from the harbor, shopping, restaurants and grocery store. No need to move your car. The Bar Harbor area is fantastic. We hiked in Acadia Park daily. Veena, the house host, is a friendly, attentive host. An area and house to revisit!

We were very pleased with most everything about the home and location. On-site parking at the back door was great. Short walk to grocery store, downtown area and waterfront / docks. Spacious living room and ample cooking pots, pans, and place settings. Quick drive to Acadia NP. Liquid hand soap is provided but no bath products, so bring your own. Could have used a few more towel rods or hooks in bathrooms, but we managed

Location, location, location!

This house is exactly as shown and described. Very clean and well maintained. Very stocked kitchen if you want to cook at home. Many bedrooms and bathrooms for privacy with adult groups. We had five adults so this was perfect. The location is incredible. So close to town, you can walk to restaurants, bakeries, even the grocery store in just a few minutes. Very close to the Bar Island walk as well. Yet even though you are so close to town, you are just far enough away to be on a quiet street. Lots of onsite parking as well. Acadia Park is also close. I highly recommend this property. Communications with property manager was quick and easy as well.

Great location

Traveled with my husband & 2 adult children. The house was perfectly located within walking distance of restaurants, grocery & shopping. Was only a short drive to Acadia for many amazing hikes. Bike rentals were also walking distance & we were able to ride from the house to the Carriage Roads. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable with ample pillows & blankets. Also had plenty of towels. We had plenty of room to rest but then come together again for family time. Would definitely stay again!

Acadia Vacation

We had a wonderful time in Bar Harbor and the house worked perfectly for our families needs. The 4 bedrooms worked great for 4 couples. No one needed to sleep in a double or a twin room. Everyone said their beds were comfortable and that is super important. Walking distance to everything Bar Harbor has to offer and even the Grocery Store. Had two e-bikes and two regular bikes. The e-bikes got tons of use but the carriage trails are hilly so after the 1st day people didn’t use the regular bikes.Super easy to walk to the Village Green and take the Island explorer into the park!

Bar Harbor fall vacation

My familly and I stayed in Bar Harbor Oct 14-28. The house was exactly as pictured and described. When we arrived the house was immaculate. Very clean and well appointed. Simple things matter: soft toilet paper, kleenex in every room, plush towels, comfortable beds and the whole place smelled so good. The kitchen was our main gathering place and it was surprisingly well stocked. Our intent was to cook many meals in and nearly everything we needed was there. Spices, oils, plastic wrap, pancake mix, flour, brown sugar etc. There were plenty of dishes and pans to cook with. The coffee maker was especially handy as it was able to do a large pot of coffee or use individual pods. It was a Ninja brand. The location of the house was absolutely perfect!. It was close to everything. We walked everywhere. We walked to little shops, to restaurants (our favorites were, Side Street Cafe, Thirsty Whale and Jordon's). The grocery store is only a block away and little ice cream shops and coffee shops are close too. We drove to Acadia for our fabuous hikes and it was only 10 - 15 minutes away. So nice to come home in the evening and not have to worry about parking. The water was nice and hot for showers after a long and tiring day of hiking. And it was so quiet in the evenings for a good night's sleep. We loved everything about this house. It was the nicest VRBO we have ever stayed in. Book it quick because it will make your vacation to Acadia/Bar Harbor area the best ever!

This home really had it all! All descriptions on website are accurate, it has so much room and is beautiful! Plenty of seating inside and out and bathrooms for all. It is in a great location! We walked to everywhere in town but is far enough away to not be in the middle of it all. The parking on site is a bonus

The house was very well equipped with a high chair, pack and play and an umbrella stroller. This property is in a perfect location. We were able to walk to all of the restaurants and shops in Bar Harbor. The bedrooms worked out great with all of my family there. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. The owner even had some toys for my grandchildren to play with in the backyard. I would definitely consider staying here again.
