Enjoy incredible views of Frenchman Bay off the back porch while sipping on your morning cup of coffee and get your day off to a good start. This home's kitchen will be a delight to work on with all the appliances and utensils available at your disposal. Now is the perfect time to treat your loved ones to your famous recipe! Then, once mealtime is over, snuggle up in the living room and watch a favorite movie on the flatscreen TV. One of the greatest perks of this townhouse is that you can bring your dog along with you! There is no need to look for a dog sitter when you can treat your dog to a great vacation.

Cozy townhouse in Bar Harbor

My brother, his wife, my wife and I stayed together for a week for vacation. It was roomy, clean, cozy and very much like a home. It had all the kitchen utensils and dishes we needed. Lots of clean towels and wash cloths in each bathroom. The views of the ocean from the balcony were breathtaking. The neighbourhood was quiet and relaxing. We had easy access to the free Island Explorer buses. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

Worn down unit that needs major attention

Upon arrival, the unit appeared fairly clean and neat. However, on our first day there, we noticed that there were broken items (ice maker, coffee maker), furniture was falling apart and unsafe (chairs were rickety and coming undone, couch was unbalanced), bathroom surfaces were not cleaned thoroughly, wallpaper in bathrooms peeling, mold growing on floorboards and ceiling in bathroom, lots of scratches and gouges in the furniture and everything was just really old, poor quality and worn out. For the amount of money we were paying for this unit, it was a huge disappointment. The only redeeming quality was the response time from Vrbo. We received a call back immediately after complaining and they sent a local rep to the unit. Unfortunately, not much could be done on the spot. I would NOT stay in this property ever again nor would I recommend it to anyone. It was a MAJOR disappointment.

Disappointing

Location wonderful easy access to Bar Harbor. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean. Pictures shown on VRBO are not this unit maybe another one in the group. Contacted host upon arrival there were no flourescent light bulbs in the kitchen fixture above the sink which covers the length of the counter and housing for light was broken. Door to deck windows were dirty with handprints and smudges and screen door was laying on the deck. Don't think the deck was every cleaned. Host contact and asked if we wanted the cleaning crew to return and I replied we request no one come while we are out. When we returned later someone had been in to replace the missing light bulbs. Very shabby furniture. Couch had loose leg so rocked when you say on it and coffee table scratched. One bedroom had an uncovered outlet and the air conditioner had an odor. Kitchen cabinets old and shabby, not like the picture on VRBO. Recycling container had previous occupants garbage in it. Very disappointing for the price. Will not recommend.
