"Overall l, was a good stay at the property for my family and I. Some of the pros include the beautiful grounds, the pool and the awesome staff for breakfast and dinner! A few of the cons are that in our room the bathroom area was overrun with ants. The bed wasn’t all that comfy either, and on additional “nit” is that the front desk only allowed for two towels for our room…which was super inconvenient traveling with my spouse and 3 kids. I’m a consultant and have lived in hotels for a good chunk...

"Best place to stay if you have a car and if you like a quiet spot. Right in the mountains with a great views of the Tungurahua volcano, very close to the "casa del arbol " which is an unbeatable spot for the view of the volcano. Rooms are more like small bungalows , very spacious with very comfortable beds. We absolutely loved our stay there. "

"Amazing staff. Main guy was AWESOME. He spoke English. Set me up with all the activities, and knew what was good and what was not. There were 2 girls that worked as volunteers for we work that were just as cool and spoke English as well. My one complaint was my room had no hot water..... I left the water on for 5 minutes. It only got colder.... I needed that shower too... The locals like to party... all night long... my gosh. Makes it harder to sleep. "

"We had to move rooms when we first checked in because the bathroom smelled like the bottom of a sewer system. There was no way we could stay in there. We moved one room over and the smell was better, but not gone. The staff all seemed stoned the whole time, and were not very helpful. The hostel is pretty loud with people constantly in the main area, which is right below the rooms. The quiet hours did start at 11pm which were adhered to, so that was great. I get its a hostel and people are...
