This house exceeded way beyond our expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice on the website. Everything was comfortable and cozy. The views are breathtaking and so amazing to wake up to. Watching the deer every morning and evening are remarkable. We and two other families stayed here during a recent ski-trip to Beech Mountain. The home was a super short drive from to/from the mountain. It fit all of us and our kids comfortably, and they loved having their own space downstairs. And speaking of comfort, everyone commented on how comfortable their beds were. The fireplace and hot-tub both worked great. The views were magnificent. One disappointment is that the home is three levels with only one zone for the HVAC system for the whole house. Hot air rises, so the family members who slept in the queen bed and bunkbeds on the bottom floor were cold given there is no thermostat on that level. (One other item - a quick fix - there is a nail protruding on the center of the step just above the landing on the ground level). ##### Paul J. The only complaint I have is that what is described as a "separate water closet" in the upstairs master suite does not offer any privacy if someone else is in the bathroom because the door to the "separate water closet" has been removed. The pictures and description are great, but the actual house is even better. We rented the house for the weekend to hang out with another family and ski. There was plenty of room, the teenagers enjoyed hanging out in the basement while the younger kids played games and watched movies with the adults in the main living room. The first night, I messaged the host with a question about the hot tub and got an immediate response at 10:30pm, great service!
