The housecwas lovely and very well stocked for our stay. It is centrally located to multiple hiking trails, great shopping and other activities. We would definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Cozy Bear Cabin. We would definitely rent this cabin again. It was in a great location and had everything we needed to feel at home.
We loved this cabin. It had everything you need. The details make all the difference and this cabin had them all- stocked kitchen, hooks EVERYWHERE for all your stuff, games to play. We loved it!
My family and I drove up Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Friends joined us Thanksgiving night. We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was clean, organized, and well stocked (coffee pot, keurig, crock pot). The hot tub and fireplace were perfect for the cold weather (we even had some snow)! The kids enjoyed the game room and board games. We loved that each room had a tv and Roku. The beds were VERY comfortable! We would definitely stay here again. We truly enjoyed Thanksgiving in the mountains.
This was our 2nd friends ski trip to Boone and we had the best time at the cabin. Perfect location with tons of space that perfectly accompanied 3 couples and 2 extras that didn’t mind sharing a king bed together. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils. We were also able to park 4 cars out from with no problems with space. We are already planning our trip for next year. Can’t wait!
We took a family trip for Christmas like we do every year. Our family throughly enjoyed Seven Devils and all of the amenities in the area. This location was nice because the kids could go downstairs and play in the game room during our down time. The hot tub was used as well which was a nice feature. Make sure to have 4wd or AWD as the road up to the cabin is very steep and many sharp turns. Overall we throughly enjoyed our stay. One thing that we were disappointed in was the cleanliness of the place. It looked as though the cleaning company did more of a spot clean than a deep clean. The area under the kitchen rugs was nasty and had crumbs and trash under it. The bed in the game room had chip bags and a soda can under it as well. This is a representation of the cleaning company and not the actual homeowners. Also, there is a 7 night minimum stay but they only provide 2 days of supplies such as trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. I feel like if there is a 7 day minimum more toiletries should be provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it always delivers. Great spot. Great amenities. So much fun being in the mountains of NC and I highly recommend this location.
Our stay here was great! We came for an Appalachian football game. It was a great location and had everything we needed. We would warn other guests that the door automatically locks - we walked out with no keys to unload the car and luckily were able to get back in through a window!
A spacious comfortable cabin, very nicely decorated, excellent view. comfortable rooms, very well equipped, a spacious kitchen with all the utensils such as pots. summing up a wonderful place to relax and have an amazing time + less than 20 minutos from the mountains. Highly recommended 100%
One of the best mountain cabin rentals ever. Needed some time away from work and this cabin checked all of the boxes. Very clean. Comfortable furnishings and beds, nice bathroom accommodations (loved the large master shower with "river pebble" floor), well appointed kitchen and dual gas/charcoal grill, and despite a VERY steep elevation neighborhood, direct walk-in access to front door (no steps up or down). Plan on staying here again soon.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
A little disappointed but didn't let it ruin our vacation.
Did not realize the property was not central heat and air. The dryer was broken when we got there, needed a heating element that was scheduled to be fixed after our departure. It was very inconvenient due to having 2 small babies and not being able to do any laundry, wash towels, etc. When I called the office to discuss it, I was told a manager would call me back and never received a call back.
Spend a week in this wonderful cabin with my husband, son (turning 18) and four of his buddies. Absolutely wonderful time. Highly recommend and would stay again. Few items for future visitors. Bring trash bags, liquid laundry detergent (front loaders), beach towels (for hot tub). Note to host (more for the cleaning crew) lot of cobwebs through the inside of the house. A deep clean would be beneficial. Great location, easy checkin and check out, plenty of space, well equipped, lots of games and game rooms down stairs great!
The cabin was everything we expected and more. The cabin had everything we needed and we absolutely loved the wood-burning fireplace. The hot tub was amazing!
We thoroughly enjoyed our long wk-end at the Cozy Bear cabin. Saw lots of wildlife on the property. Enjoyed fishing at Grandfather Mt. Trout lakes. Drove to Newland to a choose and cut Christmas tree farm. An overall great time.
