A lot of noise made sleep tricky - the mini bar fridge was super loud, the announcements from the station next door, and TVs from other rooms. No climate control so keeping the room at a comfortable temperature was tricky. Staff on the check-in desk were checked out, not particularly welcoming. However, bed was really comfortable, it's nice to have a bath and there is a lot to do near by. I didn't have breakfast, so no idea if it's good.

This hotel was chosen because it is directly opposite the Philharmonic. It was perfect in every way. We have been to Liverpool many times and it is convenient for sightseeing and shopping.

The room was very clean, the shower head was leaking badly but was fixed promptly. The staff were were welcoming and attentive. We caught the train to Liverpool and the hotel was only a 20 minute walk away. Air conditioning was ok
