I've been staying at the MPH for over 20 years. This last trip, the place felt a bit sad. There were understaffed in every way, from check-in to valet. The staff we did encounter were friendly though managing too many things at once. The first room we had was really run down, though they kindly upgraded us. Overall, we had a good stay, though the decline in service may keep me from coming back.

Beautiful hotel with fantastic rooftop area. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Very clean bathroom. Excellent desk staff- very helpful with questions about the area. Easy walk to the space needle and Pike Place area. Would definitely stay again when in Seattle and highly recommend.

Check in was smooth, the room was on the ground level and bordered the parking lot. You could hear the cars driving by and I wish we were on the ocean side and not on ground level. The room needed to be vacuumed and I felt it wasn't that clean, the smell from the gas fireplace was strong and our clothes that stayed in the suitcases smelled of the gas after we left and opened them again on the cruise. The on site restaurant had extremely high prices and even breakfast was way over-priced. Location is good and right next to cruise terminal. Would I stay here again? probably not as the price for the room and any food was a lot.
