I went to ME to visit my Mom and stayed at the Bucksport Inn. The room was clean & homey feeling. Staff was fantastic; very friendly & gave good recommendations as to where to eat. The next time I go to Bucksport I will be staying there.

Everyone here is so nice and helpful. The room is one of the cleanest we have ever been in. We usually stay at a chain hotel but wanted something outside of Bangor as its cheapest. This place didn’t disappoint. Definitely recommend 👌

This is such a quaint motel straight out of the 1950s. What we were most impressed with was how clean it is. White grout in bathroom was either brand new or they have a secret to cleaning grout that I have not discovered. We stayed here the day before going to Bar Harbor for two days. Nice quiet place before the busyness of Bar Harbor. The owners have done a great job with this property.

Great Motor Hotel in Bucksport
The Bucksport Inn is a lovely little motel for a very reasonable price. The room was very clean, bed was comfy, everything worked, and the staff were very kind and friendly. I highly recommend and will definitely stay again.

Absolute wonderful staff, nice room and a great location. I highly recommend staying there. It's only about 45 minutes to Acadia National Park. The inn is close to the grocery store and a great restaurant.

Fresh and clean.
The Bucksport Inn was obviously recently remodeled. The bathroom sparkled and the walls were freshly painted. The bed was very comfortable. A Hannaford grocery store is just a little way down the road across the busy street. Traffic generally respected the crossing light across from Hannaford so we didn't have any issue walking there. The refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave were handy for making breakfast. There is a paved walkway near Hannaford that goes under the bridge where we enjoyed morning and evening walks along the river with nice views of the bridge and Ft. Knox. Highly recommend!

For starters, the girl that checked me in was so kind. Maybe it's a Maine thing, but she was so friendly and helpful. It's a motel, yes. We had a pet friendly room but you'd never know it. Super clean. Small but had everything we needed for a short stay. Nice, spacious area for dog walking and enjoying the outdoors. Less than an hour from Bar Harbor so location was excellent. Dunkin right next door (also a big plus). I'd definitely recommend, especially if you're traveling with a large dog.

Booked room same day. Was a late arrival. Staff called and gave late check in instructions. Room was inviting, clean and comfortable. My only issue was the shower head was not high enough.
