Location is ok, but not great. A bit of a walk from the main attractions, but doable. As for the hotel itself, it was quite run down and old. Nothing that would disgust me, but still, not great. The shower was terrible: low water pressure, broken parts, bad positioning... The location is also good. Bus stop is just is 5min walk from the hotel while bus terminal is about 30min but if walk fast, it can be 15-20min. Other attractions like Sultan Omar Alisaifudeen mosque, Makhota public park, Kianggeh market and mercu dirgahayu are just nearby. U can reach these places by foot. Food is also delicious. Someone helped me with my bags up three stories \[no lift\]. The room and the bed were quite clean. The two coupons for breakfast next door enabled me to really 'fill up' in the mornings. A leisurely walk to the CBD took about 20 minutes; it was quite sunny and hot. It was always refreshing to come back to the air-conditioned room and lobby. For the price, I can't think of anything to complain about - good value for money.
