"As frequent MI weekend travelers we have seen it all (usually B & B or VRBO rentals) and often I don't bother to write a review in the time allowed to do so- not today. This was a last minute anniversary trip, we wanted to explore the area and thought we would stay a night. I found this GEM scrolling through all the hotels in the area. I was simply amazed how intricately they packed all you could possibly need into this tiny space. Pristine and such attention to detail (loved the labels). Decor was beautiful, (trying to find the linen curtain online for our own home:)). Coffee in the porch rockers with rain coming down, like it was out of a Nicholas Sparks novel! Fresh bread was amazing and several goodies were stocked for breakfast; unique and appreciated. Host was a lovely human and quick to respond, nothing weird about them being on the same property (sometimes it is) and kudos for stating so up front. For dinner we made a reservation at Wrought Iron Grill in Owosso, 100% worth the 20 minute drive. Honestly, this was one of my favorite stays- ever. Until next time, cheers!"

"This hotel turned out to be really great. It was nice and clean. The breakfast was largely a standard free hotel breakfast, but they did use real eggs and I liked the chicken sausage. There were 2 types of waffle makers and a choice of batter. The sitting area for the breakfast is large. Our room was 106, and the only issue with it was the window blind control to raise the window blind didn't work. This didn't bother us as the window is on the first floor and faces the parking lot, so we wanted it down and private anyhow. The three staff members that I talked to were all extremely pleasant and nice to speak with. There is a cracker barrel restaurant a very short drive from the hotel, and another restaurant within walking distance. of the hotel. The exterior doors of the hotel on the side of the building are locked and can be opened from the outside with a room key, handy for parking depending upon your room location. We will be staying here again when we travel through this area."

"Our stay was pretty good. Staff very nice and the property was clean. We did have a slight problem one day where we went to our room and our key card didn’t work. Had to go to check in and they reactivated our key card. The breakfast bar was really good. We were almost out of hand soap and shower soap. If we stayed one more day we would have had to ask for them to refill the bottles. We left a note telling them they were empty."

"Nice place for the price. The beds are extremely comfy! Did find a cockroach in room my last trip though, although I've never once seen one here ever and it was only one time. But still..pretty much only complaint"

"We were in town visiting family and this hotel was perfect! The suite was clean and large enough for our family of 4. The front desk staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was quite good for being included in the stay and made both of our kids happy which was a win. The hotel is conveniently located near gas stations, shopping, and restaurants. We didn't use the pool or gym but both seem very nice."
