Kitchen was huge with a large Island unit and all the equipment and utensils etc you could possibly need. Would definitely come back again, thank you for a lovely stay! ##### Rachel H. From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent #### Gill S. 23 Oct 2025 #### Perfect A light filled comfy house. All the bedrooms were a good size and the beds comfortable. Everything felt high quality. Our favourite space was the kitchen, dining and settee area - spacious, comfy with huge windows looking over countryside - and easily accommodated ten people and two dogs. The kitchen was well stocked with every item you could need. The garden is huge! Lots of walks in gorgeous countryside and a short walk to a very lovely pub. We’ve stayed in many Cotswold houses and this has been the best for us. ##### Gill S. From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent 13 Jun 2025 #### Third time visit Love Hill View House, perfect for our annual uni reunion. Already booking for next year From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent 3 May 2024 #### Lovely place We enjoyed our stay very much. Well equipped kitchen. The space was comfortable and generous. All bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The house was warm and plenty of hot water. Lovely big grass area for the dogs and enclosed. From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent 19 Oct 2023 #### Great place for a group of friends We all loved this place. Country walks straight from the door, great local pub within walking distance and convenient for north cotswolds towns and villages. Very well appointed house with comfortable beds, and everything very clean. Booking was easy and communication very efficient. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. From a partner site ### 8/10 Good #### Trish J. 17 May 2024 #### Spacious house in a lovely location. 5 couples stayed for the weekend in this spacious house in a lovely location. There were some minor niggles but overall thoroughly enjoyed by all of us helped by having great weather to enjoy the outside. We used the local pub where the food was good and the staff were friendly. The bonus was seeing a barn owl every evening at dusk. ##### Trish J. From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent 4 Apr 2024 #### Wonderful We had a wonderful stay in this house for a bit of a reunion. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfy and the communal spaces great for a group. The garden is amazing, the dogs loved running around and the fire pit by the stream made for a lovely evening. We enjoyed the local walks right on the doorstep and the local pub, it’s a great place to meet in a group and plenty to do in the nearby vicinity. I would definitely come back to this house! Thank you! From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent 17 Feb 2024 #### 60th birthday week end Great stay. Lovely house. Great outdoor space. Sitting by the stream very tranquil and peaceful. Good location for visiting Cotswolds. Cotswolds Distillery a great day out and Draylsford. Local pub very welcoming although busy mainly with food bookings. House had everything you need and more although the Aga style cooker was a bit complicated and slow when catering for 10 people From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent #### Margaret L. 5 Nov 2024 #### Family Celebration Hill View House was perfect for our family celebration. The accommodation was spacious & well equipped. There is plenty of parking. There is a local inn within walking distance where we enjoyed a family meal. However I would suggest having a grocery delivery. The real bonus with Hill View House is that there is a bathroom for each bedroom, which is important when you are a large group. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property and imagine that on a hot Summer's evening it would be bliss to sit by the stream at the bottom of the property's grounds. Something to aim for! ##### Margaret L. From a partner site ### 8/10 Good 4 Jan 2024 #### Excellent property rural location Stayed here as a family of 10 and 1 small dog. Plenty of room and well equipped kitchen. Nice to have a separate lounge from kitchen/family area. Bedrooms were all good as was the one bedroom annex. Only two downsides check in is quite late and it’s an early checkout. Annex is away from the main house so if going in the winter and it’s cold and wet be prepared for a walk out in the elements. Would highly recommend. From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent 8 Jul 2024 #### Well equipped, luxury home from home This property is very well equipped, well decorated and tastefully furnished with plenty of space. All the tech works well - tv, wi-fi, music, lights and blinds - all excellent. The key/check in went smoothly and the instructions throughout the property are comprehensive - note the oven should be studied before use. The grounds are excellent and our dog and the grandchildren loved the space. Village pub a bit of a walk uphill but 2 minutes in the car with dog/children is no problem. Nearby plenty of 'cotswold' stuff for you to choose from or just stay in the garden and chill out. Overall - excellent. From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent 15 May 2024 #### A great getaway location The property is very well appointed with a lovely combined kitchen, dining and sitting room combined on the ground floor. There are huge sliding doors out to the patio and back garden. The kitchen is neat and uncluttered with many comfort features. There is a clever walk in type larder and enormous fridge. There is a separate living room which is spacious and has closing doors to separate it from the kitchen, dining and sitting area. There are enough bathrooms to provide one per bedroom in the main house. The annexe is simple and compact but cute all the same. It is above the garage. There is enough parking for four cars without too much organisation. There are local walks and a pub in reasonable walking distance, too. We spent most of our meal times at the house as it was so pleasant. From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent #### Belinda C. 1 Feb 2024 #### Annual friends get together The property is beautiful and very well equipped. The enormous garden was perfect for the dogs to have a run. We could not enter the property or the annex on time as it was still being cleaned at 4pm. However the cleaners were very apologetic and the property was spotless when we entered. A word of warning about the Everhot cooker. We had precooked our meals and they needed to be heated up. However this type of cooker takes over 2 hours to heat, and even longer to get to a high temperature. We think this warning needs to be mentioned up front so that people can turn on the oven as soon as they arrive as it is not a conventional oven. We ended up having to use the oven in the annex to heat to the correct temperature. The kitchen was very well equipped, however the annex kitchen was less so. All the beds were really comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water for showers for a large group. All in all a great place to stay. ##### Belinda C. From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent 26 Nov 2025 #### Lovely weekend We had a super weekend with friends. The house was brilliant, loads of space for everyone and everything. We’d love to stay again but next year we will be too many. From a partner site ### 8/10 Good #### netta c. 21 Aug 2025 #### Great house in great location We stayed at the house for a week. It was spacious and clean and overall we loved it and had a great time. The only few downsides were that there was no cellphone reception in the house, I wish we had known that in advance. The other issue was the mattresses seemed very worn so they were very soft. Lastly the kitchen cookware could use an upgrade. Either than that the house was beautiful in a beautiful calm setting. The big garden was a plus. ##### netta c. Verified ### 10/10 Excellent #### Taskeen-Zahra J. 5 Jun 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Awesome stay! We stayed with extended family for a few days - loved every moment. The property and area were both stunning. The house was immaculate equipped with pretty much everything we needed for our stay, the bedroom layouts with ensuites worked out really well as we had 3 couples and two lots of kids. Would definitely recommend! ##### Taskeen-Zahra J. Stayed 3 nights in May 2022 From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent 15 Sept 2022 #### Loved it Perfect house for entertaining or large groups. In the quiet Cotswolds countryside (you need to drive) the location is idyllic, house incredibly well stocked and comfortable! Thank you!! From a partner site ### 10/10 Excellent 6 Jul 2023 #### Fabulous Hill Top House was amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils so no need to take anything. The furnishings were of an excellent standard. It was a total luxurious stay so much so that I have recommended it to friends and would not hesitate to return. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. It felt like I was in my own home with a lot of items I actually own! The kitchen is best I have ever been in, with every gadget I needed so I was able to cook and bake for the whole family! The room layout was perfect for our adult children and partners plus babies. Thank you ##### Yeet H. Beautiful walks, wonderful local pub, everything you could need at the property too, everything has been thought of. If I were to be picky, then the windows in the kitchen / lounge area could have been cleaned as it spoilt the lovely view into the garden and beyond. It would be helpful to have a tea towel etc in the kitchen annex too. ##### Nicole O.
