Was very hot and thermostat was controlled by owner and was never set to a comfortable position and AC Was turned off in the middle of the night. Each room had a code on the door which felt unnecessary and the surrounding neighborhood was a little bit seedy. Bathroom on second floor water pressure was so hard it hurt your body to take a shower. Top floor bead rooms not friendly if your tall slanted ceiling make you hit your head if not carefull and steps leading up to upper rooms are very steep. Other than that it had a musty smell/ smelled like cats when we first entered. The ceiling in the basement was maybe 6/7 ft high where we had to duck while walking around. The air conditioning was set on 70 with a lock, which was fine, BUT it didn’t work in the top two rooms where the temp was well over 90 during the day. It’s a good place to stay for one or two nights but if you plan on doing longer I wouldn’t recommended it. I will say the design of the building was very interesting and the stairs will remind you of old town homes. The washer and dryer worked correctly and was a big plus allowing us to pack light. The owner was great with communication and reminded us of the rules/ check out rules making it easy to check out.
