Ideally located in the center of Lozère, in the village of Balsièges (5km from Mende and its amenities), this rental is at the crossroads of the Cévennes, Aubrac, Margeride and Gorges du Tarn. Former restored farmhouse, this stone house can accommodate up to 6 people. It is composed on the ground floor of a large living room (kitchen, living room, living room) and a floor with 2 bedrooms (1 double bed 140 + 1 single bed per room) as well as a bathroom with bath and a separate toilet. We started at Capluc, a cross on a peak above Le Rozier and did the entire circuit. It's still comfortably in my top ten all time great walks. If you suffer acrophobia it's one to be avoided. The area is also something of a mecca for rock climbers.
