The cabin was a great layout for my family. My family consisted of 3 couples, my mother and my daughter. The activity room that has the futon works as a separate room as it has french doors that close off but still has access to the bathroom that is a "jack/jill style" that can be accessed from one of the bedrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots, cutlery, plates, toaster, and various other items. Michele called me to let me know that per WI rental rules we needed to bring all items that were to be ingested including sugar, cooking oils, salt/pepper etc. This was great info prior to arrival so we could pack accordingly as we prepared all meals there. The grill they provided was really nice as well. There were extra linens for the futon. All the bedding looked new and there were plenty of towels.
Two small things that could be improved and are easily solvable are: 1) Faster response time on communication
2) Making a binder that includes essential information on cabin, check-out requirements (stripping sheets etc), and helpful insider tips in the area (Jonzy's if you forget bare essentials)
Today with cellphones, I'm used to responses to be within a minimum of 48 hours from my experience of other owners. Currently Michele's daughter's number is on the listing and so it was slow to get responses. I would advise the decision maker to be the listed. Once I got Michele's direct line it was very quick responses.
Having the binder just enables renters to be able to know in advance of check-out what is required. I texted Michele and it was bare minimum of what needed to be done which was nice but just easier to have in book.
Overall a very pleasurable experience and the two call-outs can be very easily improved.
