"I had an amazing stay at Hame Hotel on the Isle of Skye. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and well organized, making our stay very easy. The location is stunning and very central for exploring the island. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They have a great common area with an honesty bar that is well stocked. "The perfect location for all of your Isle of Skye exploration. Nice staff and good clean rooms. My husband and I found the room nice with a beautiful first floor view of the grounds but a little cramped and maybe needing a little refresh. We were told it was an upgrade due to the view, however the room was next to the housekeeping closet which meant it was quite loud early in the morning. The breakfast each morning was lovely. Everyone we met on staff was really helpful and kind."

Any room on the third floor is the quietest, but very hot and there are no fans. While the window opens, it took forever to cool down and never really got below 72 to sleep. We stayed in late June. "The only thing good about this place is the breakfast was decent. The ladies served the meal were very nice and welcoming. Be prepared to drive thru a super long pothole-filled single road and finally arrived with nothing to eat, no where to eat, and the reception staff offered no help and couldn’t care less. Unfortunate, this was not a place that meets the Scottish hospitality standard. Will not return."
