Gorgeous spot, we had an unusually sunny evening and had the place to ourselves - it was a Monday - 10 minutes drive to Ballymaloe cookery school and shop, don’t miss it! Jade was at reception and was very helpful and friendly. Room was lovely, you couldn’t top the view, between the harbour, lighthouse and ocean it was spectacular. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant, it was excellent. Will definitely stay again.

Séjour agréable vue mer dégagée Excellent établissement plein de charme et a la décoration soignée. Au-dessus de la moyenne des établissements de cette catégorie. Regret que le restaurant soit ferme et non mentionné sur le site. Insonorisation un peu mince Personnel irréprochable et attentionné. Très haute qualité pour ce lieu de repos. De loin un des meilleurs 4 étoiles que j ai côtoyé en Irlande.

It was so lovely, wish we were staying more than one night and definitely going to come back in the summer time. The hotel is so well kept, you wouldn't know it's 100+ years old. The rooms were pristine and the oceanic views from the windows are sublime. Can't wait to come back!

Revisited the Bay View after many years. On earlier visit had been very impressed but on this occasion we were disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in the room. Manager acted promptly to change our room. However refurbishment seems long overdue. The dining/ food was excellent and staff friendly. But in terms of rating 4 stars it is not. 3 stars more appropriate and rooms very overpriced.

Disappointing, Standards gave slipped. Kettle not working, tall lamp not working, I had to clean the toilet bowl. No toilet roll on the roll holder . Food was very expensive. Won’t be going back unfortunately
