Wonderful place to relax and forget your cares. Delightful little pool and condo and quiet. Breakfast was brought to our room and served in the lovely kitchen! Yum!

Not recommended… Very disappointed, the villa was dark there were no proper chairs to sit on, the lounge was floor level and no outside chairs. When we asked the staff they said that’s their decor. Very dark inside and dated, breakfast was cold. The place does not match the photos online. Will not stay here again.

We had a couple of issues during our stay but overall had an okay experience there. 1. We arrived back to the villa after being out for the morning to find the front door completely unlocked after the cleaners had been. We had not secured our valuable items and we literally walked in off the street with no staff at reception. So anyone could have entered our room from the outside. 2. We arrived perfectly on time for check in at 2pm but were told the room wasn’t ready and to go for a walk for 30 mins. When we returned the room still was not ready and in total we weren’t able to check in until after 3pm. 3. There were no spare toilet paper rolls and we were given half a roll to start with so ended up running out. The villa is nice and spacious but definitely has some wear and tear.

There was multiple leaks in my villa. Also the villas needs some work and updates. The staff on the other hand was amazing.

great stay
All round great stay, all the staff were really friendly and was on hand with any queries we had. The villa set out is great with the swimming pool coming up right up to your bathroom door, Breakfast was always at what time we wanted it rather than a set time which was great. The hotel sorted us out a bike for us to explore seminyak and was a very reasonable price. Highly recommend, thanks for a great stay.

The staff were amazing and very helpful and accommodating. The villa was really well equipped with a self contained kitchen, jacuzzi, pool, shower, TVs and lounges inside and out. The location is not bad - short walk to the beach and main shopping strip but is on a backstreet. There are always plenty of taxis and people around though.

Loved the private pool, huge living room and kitchen. Staff were also lovely and friendly. Breakfast was good although having to pick a time the night before was a bit laborious, especially if your desired time wasn't available. The hotel doesn't have a bar or restaurant or spa, which would have been nice. Location is alright though as all these facilities are nearby.

Enjoyed our stay
The location is fantastic, just round the corner from the gay strip, near the beach, easy 25 min walk to Seminyak Square and 'Eat Street' or head the other way along the beachfront to Legian area (we like walking). Bintang Supermarket and Jari Menari even closer. Staff are lovely, very helpful and eager that you enjoy your stay. The villas are very large, and surprising as you walk down a dark corridor to one of only 8 villas, open the door and hey presto you're back outside in your deck and pool area. Inside the villa was a spacious living area, kitchen (not so well equipped), lounge (couch uncomfortable though), Large TV with cable channels, DVD player. No Music player. Kitchen did not have a microwave or coffee maker as is listed. Just bare minimum of plates glasses and a couple of pots, a few utensils, but no way you could cook anything serious if you were so inclined. We eat out every night so that's ok. Lacks a filtered water cooler which is disappointing, every other villa we have stayed in has had one, and with Bali's dodgy water supply is a must. Bed was King, comfortable and quiet. I'm not a fan of platform style beds though. Bathroom was ok but the toilet was stained around the hinges where the lid attached to the pan. A bit icky. Overall it's a good place to stay but it's in need of a refresh, at the very least a fresh coat of paint, and replace bathroom/toilet fittings.

We absolutely loved our stay at Seriyu Villas. The staff were amazing and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The breakfast which is served in your dining area was excellent (I was so happy to see they have smoothie bowls options). The villa itself is gorgeous and modern, the decor is very zen and you can truly unwind there. We stayed in 4 different hotels when traveling in Bali and this was our favourite!

The property felt very secluded. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. If I had to pick on something the mattress wasn't overly supportive and the daily breakfast was very basic.

Villa for me is a separate building with some kind of garden. This was a bunker, felt like we came to a prison. Black, fake leather cushion on an outdoor bed by the pool?! Felt like a porno star😡Stupid ‘couch’ on the floor, yes I do understand the japanese concept - but this was done cheaply. We had booked 3 nights and would not get our money back, but decided to leave anyway and went back to our previous hotel in Nusa Dua. Could never had stayed here, maybe we were to old for this strange concept...

Amazing stay!!! Stayed in Kuta with friends for a few nights then me and my partner stayed at the Seiryu Villas for our last 2 nights in Bali!! So relaxing and so much space. Was perfect for us! The service was always outstanding and the villa so beautiful and spacious. Definitely recommend staying here. Only negative I can think of was the lack of lighting inside. So many lights but none really bright enough to see much inside the villa and doing makeup and hair became difficult. Not much of a problem though really and that’s my only negative. Loved our stay here and will come back soon!!

The property was in a great location and the staff were extremely friendly. However we had to run the shower for 5 minutes before entering as the water had a funny smell. We were also moved to a different property much further away on our last night as they were conducting plumbing maintenance. We were only told about this upon arrival which disrupted our stay. We also had to pay for taxis out of our own pocket back into Seminyak as the accommodation was much further away.

Japanese inspired retreat
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were very accommodating, and the property was only a short walk from shops and the beach. Was great to have them deliver breakfast each morning. The only negative was that sometimes the breakfast was a little cool and no microwave in the room to heat it up. We didn't let this detract from our stay. Everything else was great; ideal for couples who want an actual quiet holiday and time to relax away from the hustle and bustle, with your own private pool. WiFi was very fast and stable.

This was one of the most relaxing holidays we have had. Our villa was a quiet oasis away from the hustle and bustle and provided everything we needed. Breakfast served daily in our villa was a treat and having a private pool with 2 lounging areas was just lovely. The staff were exceptionally attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Would absolutely recommend to our friends and stay again.

Bed was excellent. Pool was amazing. But breakfast was cool and tea and coffee like warm. Provided coffee sachets were 3 in 1 (milk and sugar incl) so no good if you like black unsweetened coffee. Took multiple complaints to get 1 of the Aircon’s fixed and to get the hot water fixed but only 1 complaint to get the toilet fixed. Had to request extra towels multiple times. They need to provide more than 2 when there is a pool so you will have dry towels for the shower. I expected more for the price and 5 star rating. Needs a toaster and microwave in the kitchen. Even with the above issues it was still a good stay. They just need to lift their game to really be 5 star. Staff were very friendly.

Nice place but...
The bed was super comfortable and the pool was awesome but it took 4 complaints to get one of the Aircon’s fixed, 3 complaints about no hot water (both these being told it was fixed but it wasn’t) and 1 about the toilet blocked and leaking (fixed straight away). I had to keep asking for extra towels (if there’s a pool you need more than 1 towel each!) The included breakfast was delicious but always cold. Even the tea and coffee was only lukewarm (yuck) no microwave so no way to heat it up and the coffee sachets provided were 3 in 1 so had milk and sugar in them and useless if you wanted unsweetened black coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would only say 4 star not 5. For 5 star I expected extra towels, microwave and toaster in the villa.

Overall very good stay
The Seiryu was an overall very good experience. We had some minor problems that affected our group (which reserved four separate villas). At check-in, one person's royal villa was not ready and they downgraded her to the other type of villa for the first night of her stay. They told her it was not possible to give her a refund for the price difference, which did not seem reasonable, although they did end up giving her some type of dining credit. Another room had some problems with the AC, but they ended up getting it working after awhile. On the positive side, the service was VERY attentive, they helped us with car reservations, laundry, and a multi-day trip to Lombok. The food was also very good and the villa itself was lovely. It also felt very safe inside of the buildling.

Enjoy my whole stay. The property is in an great location ( next door to Marriott courtyard), easy short walk to he beach and nightlife/ restaurants. The pictures of the rooms don’t show how spacious it is. I stayed in villa 1A. Incredible clean and quiet space. Would stay here again Management and staff will go the extra mile without hesitation. Amazing stay, would do it again.

We had an amazing stay at seiryu villas,seminyak. The staff did everytbinf they could to make it as comfortable as possibke notbing was ever to much to ask. We come to bali every couple of months and this would be the best place we have stayed so far. It was closw to everywhere we needed ro go. The only downside that we could think of was that a couple of the doors didnt quite close properly and as its wet season sometimes we had mozzies in the room but it was a minor thing that was dealt with by using bug spray in a otherwise perfect stay!

Beautiful villa and staff
Seiryu villas is lovely- the villas are beautiful, spacious and well kept. The staff are also incredibly helpful friendly and welcoming - you choose what you’d like for breakfast in the morning and they serve you in your villa. I particularly liked the smoothie bowls! The only minor downside is the location - it’s a fair walk to the main streets of Seminyak! If you’re a family or couple planning to get taxis everywhere then this wouldn’t be an issue!

Honeymoon Villa
This villa was so luxury it was unreal. Our own pool with garden and lounging areas. Big bath tub and big shower. Huge bed and lovely large lounge - was just a dream. The staff were great and really really friendly. The villa was a 5 minute walk to the beach and also to the best beach (double six) if you want to chill and listen to music.

Went there with my friend. Nice big pool villa. Staff were very friendly and nice. However, the restaurant and bar area is a bit far to walk, need cab all the time. Breakfast were normal.

Beautiful hotel in nice location!!
We really enjoyed our stay. This hotel is located off a quiet street which meant our villa was lovely and quiet at all times, but it is centrally located with only short walks to the beach and main food and shopping hubs. The room was always immaculate and the staff were all very welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed the daily breakfast in the room and the well sized private pool in the villa. I will certainly be recommending to friends or starting again next time in Bali!!

Limited options
For those who want a place away from the madness of Seminyak or Kuta and don't really mind limited dining options this villa will satisfy your needs. Problem is trying to get somewhere from the villa. Feel a bit stranded as you're held ransom to the taxis. Shuttle service was non-existant due to the holidays so its either a car share service to which drivers don't even know where the villa entrance is or flagging down a taxi off the street and pay a premium. Staff's command of English isn't great and although appear to be empathetic they've been trained on what to say and repeat as necessary. Tune doesn't change and can get frustrating. Breakfast itself was overall good, but again it's not like you can pick and choose from the different options available. For example we wanted the smoothie bowl and poached eggs, however because eggs were deemed a 'main menu' item, we couldn't mix'n'match and get both even though we tried and had to endure a sermon on how the villa's breakfast ordering system worked. Like most South East Asian tourist destination smiling gets you some leeway, on this occassion it didn't get us far. Other let downs - no where to take a shower after checkout if all 8 villas are booked before your flight. - no management presence and shuttle service during the holiday. Overall the villa itself is old but nicely maintained. I however don't think the property should be advertised as a 5 star hotel with the non-existent or inflexible services.

Check in was at 2pm despite that we called at 11:45 to ask if our villa was ready to be told we dont know. As we got there they told us to go for a walk until 2pm, this would all be ok if we didnt see 2 other guests on different days checking at 12. We had villa B1 that was first villa when we are at the pool we could hear phone at reception. Also all parking for staff and guest was outside of our villa and lots of noise all the time. When you are at reception no aircon is turned on for comforts and after you check out no facility is left for you to use. Towels need updating, all the edges are ripping. Pillows need upgrades kitchen need more equipment pots and pans plates and cups, tea and coffee is free but no milk. For the price its not what i expected and it was not peaceful as per other people's experience. Would probably not stay there again.

Very quiet villa for R&R
Very well located, walking distance to beach and tons of great restaurants, staff was more than helpful in any possible way. I recommend you Book Adid for excursions he is very helpful and reasonable prixing for whole day or half day trips. Only improvement would be breakfast, selections are ok but lack of exotic fruits and a good capucino got me a tad disappointed. Overall amazing relaxing experience and I recommend

The place is awesome and clean!! The owner of Villas is a Japanese. U will like their design if you are a Japenses style lover.. A cake is given on my birthday!! Is sooo sweet and surprise! Best villa i have ever stayed in so far
the staff is so friendly, great location in seminyak, centre of everything and great resturant around, also spas and nice clubs. The room is fantastic and huge, clean, and great pool size for 2ppl stay. Also great for couple with privacy romantic stay.

Great getaway for couples
We stayed at the Seiryu villas in December, the accommodations were great and the staff was amazing and aimed to please. The room was quite spacious at over 1700 sq. ft. with a separate kitchen, a king bed separated from the living room space by a TV stand. In the washroom area there was a jetted tub, a toilet that is also separated from the rest of the bathroom (privacy is always welcomed) and a stand up shower. Outside there was an outdoor shower and a private pool along with a lunging outside bed at the foot of the pool. The room felt like noting else existed and you're in your own little oasis, especially when it rained. The room can use a few minor touch ups such as a paint job, fix the sliding doors which felt very flimsy when attempting to open, additionally the fabric hanging over the canopy bed was stained, so the room can definitely use a few upgrades, despite these minor issues the villa was great. the villas are located in a very close proximity to the beach, restaurants, bars and a shopping district, however, you can always take a taxi to a nearby beach or other numerous attractions/excursions. There are hundreds of activities to do and whatever you choose, you will not be disappointed! You can always book prior to your arrival or on-site,we had no issues booking with the hotel concierge. Highly recommend this hotel/villas, most importantly no kids !
