A lovely hotel that had exceptional customer service from the staff. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted with a refreshing iced tea and cake. The restaurant staff got to know us by name and were genuinely interested in our day and what we’d done - such a wonderful experience being there. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfy. The wifi was the best we had in Bali. It’s located down the street from the Royal Palace with lots of restaurants nearby but we didn’t use many as the hotel restaurant was great. The buffet breakfast was lovely with a good range of hot and cold choices that changed each day. Wonderful pool area. Highly recommend.

The hotel and the room was very clean. The staffs were also friendly and accommodating especially the kitchen staff. Their breakfast was amazing too. The area was also perfect for evening walks with variety food to choose from. We had good experience overall. The only issue was that we could hear everything from rooms next door.

I saw rats just around the corner of the property. You have to walk around the corner to get anywhere and the garbage and rats at that corner, scooter taxis, was just dirty. I have stayed at Senz before and the corner was not a problem then but now it is a real health issue.

I truly enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and kind. Had my room cleaned daily and the bathroom was always left spotless. The hotel is really well located, lots la great restaurants and spas around it. I also loved the breakfast buffet and express lunch of the hotel’s restaurant. Can’t recommend it more. I will be back!

The staff was warm, accommodating and they always had a smile on their face. Just the right amount of attentiveness at all times! Room was clean and well serviced throughout out stay. The spa services were very nice as well and the food and drink options plentiful for those moments when we didn’t want to venture far from the hotel. I would stay there again if I find myself back in Ubud!

Staff were very friendly and welcoming, the rooms were clean and the location was excellent, walking distance to a lot of the main sights and restaurants. The only negatives were that there were quite a few flies in the bathroom (not sure how they got in), it was quite loud at times and you could hear noises from the rooms next door. Also I didn’t like that the pool and loungers were just outside the restaurant meaning everyone could see you!

The staff were amazing, everyone was so friendly and accommodating to my needs. The hotel was beautiful, very clean and in a good location. The pool is nice but the pool area is small so you would have to go elsewhere if you would like to get sun while you lay by the pool, but there’s plenty of places you could go for a day trip to get some sun so this wasn’t really an issue

The staff were all beautiful and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Ubud, so very convenient for walking to shopping and restaurants. Only negatives were that it was really noisy, and room walls are paper thin so you can hear other guests talking and moving about in their room, and the meals and drinks were very expensive.

Property was clean and in ok location about 15 minute walk into centre. Staff were polite, and the car service through the hotel was great and safe for solo travel. Was cheaper than what was quoted on the street. Only downside was the food it was terrible at the hotel. This is something that needs to be improved. I sent food back as it wasn’t cook, the didn’t replace it just put in back ok the hob until it was cooked and handed it back.

I stayed at Sens for 13 days, the hotel was everything I needed while on my holiday. The staff was fantastic, very friendly, and so helpful. My room was very comfortable. Would highly recommend it. If I ever return to Bali I would stay there again

I recently stayed at Sens Hotel & Spa and I have to say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the local area and had great recommendations for things to do and see. The service at the hotel was also top-notch. Everything was clean, organized, and well-maintained. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the little touches that made my stay feel extra special. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. The staff, service, and amenities were all fantastic, and I would definitely stay here again in the future if I travel to Bali.

The absolute worst customer service experience! Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Also, bathroom only has glass walls with partial curtain, so no privacy. Chose this place in part because it is a VIP access property and perks include breakfast. When I tried to access this perk, I was told it was not included. I said it should be, but that I was happy to pay if it wasn’t. I was treated like some kind of criminal, asked to immediately leave the dining room to talk to the front desk, instead of just being able to charge it to the room and sort it out at checkout. Frankly, at under $10, I didn’t really care about the money so much as the fact that I was asked to leave, wait in line to explain the situation multiple times, with each person being somewhat accusatory and incompetent saying I had to wait for and talk to someone else. Even though I said I was happy to pay! I just kept being told to wait and talk to someone else. After the third person, it felt pretty ridiculous, and I gave up. I even tried to reach out to a manager by phone before writing this review, but was told they are not available before 10, so good luck ever sorting out a morning issue. The place is in a good location, but there are so many options in the area, spare yourself the useless staff and glass bathrooms

As you may have noticed whilst reviewing SenS Hotel that we do receive numerous positive feedbacks from extremely satisfied guests concerning our Guest Service and we strive to provide exceptional guest service experiences when guest stay at our hotel. It is unfortunate that you feel our service was below your expectations. I have investigated this issue personally and also contacted the Expedia Manager and she has confirmed to me that your booking is a Room Only without breakfast and she also mentioned that as stated on the booking voucher that your VIP perk includes a special Discount on Spa, not breakfast. Frankly speaking no one at the hotel treated you as a criminal and our hotel associate only tried as best as they can to explain to you about the perks that is included with your booking through Expedia which does not include a free breakfast. Defaming our hotel through your review with your claim of useless staff, I am sorry to say; based on the other reviews on Expedia, other guest do not share the same views as you. Likes: Amazing staff, wonderful breakfast with coffee to order and also GF friendly (SO appreciated!), extremely clean, good location. Dislikes: not great soundproofing as we could hear our neighbors late into the evening/early morning, we had the hotel arrange transport to Nusa Penida and we did not have a great experience with that (cramped & full van, late/long drive, no A/C, stops along the way without warning), so I’d recommend booking your own transport to the islands, massages were a bit overpriced and not worth it, we’d recommend going elsewhere for massage Overall though, we’d give the stay a 9/10 and would stay again!
