"Perfectly fine for a budget hotel, on an industrial estate off the ring road. It's clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The pool was a definate bonus on a hot day and for a pre breakfast swim. So long as you're not looking for rustic, romantic, french charm, then it's a good place for a stop over on a long journey."

"Gite op een prachtige locatie. Mooie wandelroutes tussen uitgestrekte wijngaarden, afgewisseld met bos en Bergerac dichtbij De gite was supercompleet. De eerste benodigdheden zoals peper, zout, olie, afwasmiddel etc.. stonden er allemaal. Verder een goed Nespresso-apparaat van Krups voor heerlijke koffie. Magnetron, oven, grote ijskast met vrieslades etc... Alles werkte goed en was netjes schoon. Het zwembad met poolhouse en aangrenzende rotstuin was een plaatje. Echt paradijs daar, ik kom er graag weer terug."

"Excellent service on arrival. The staff member provided information to us on the local area and discounts we can receive for eating at their recommended restaurant. The hotel is on a retail park, on the outskirts of the town but the shops and eateries are worth a visit. The room was basic, but clean, this was expected. The shower and basin is in the bedroom which was inconvenient when other members of the family were visiting the room. Breakfast was a basic continental offering."

"We’ve just returned from an absolutely fantastic stay and would highly recommend this house.The pool is the absolute highlight. The photos really don’t do it justice — it is huge, beautifully maintained and perfect for adults and children, ranging from 0.9m to 2m. It was cleaned every morning.The table tennis table was a brilliant addition, while the three outdoor seating areas gave us options for sun or shade. The outdoor kitchen and BBQ were fantastic. The only small disappointment was that the outdoor oven wasn’t working, but this didn’t affect our enjoyment.Inside, the living area was comfortable and the small but extremely well-stocked kitchen was very well laid out.The two separate wings worked brilliantly and would be ideal for two families. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, with air conditioning in several bedrooms and hallways. Even at 40C, the villa stayed surprisingly cool.The listing photos appear quite old, as several bedrooms have since been updated, so the house felt more modern than expected. WiFi was excellent, easily handling 7 iPads and 6 phones. It doesn’t reach the pool, but we actually saw this as a positive!The play area could use updating, and two clothes airers were provided instead of a washing line, but neither affected our stay.Importantly, the owners were fantastic — responsive, helpful, kind and never intrusive.We had an amazing family holiday and would happily return. Highly recommended!"

"Nous avons passé une excellente semaine avec nos amis. Le gîte est très joli et confortable. Il y avait tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner, se reposer, lire, jouer aux jeux de société (….). Le parc aussi est très joli. Nous avons vu des chevreuils et des biches au loin le matin. Mais ce que nous avons surtout apprécié, c’est la très grande piscine et les étoiles filantes chaque soir."

"Hébergement simple et fonctionnel. Juste un peu différents de l'annonce sur le site car ce dernier regroupe les 3 gîtes pour 4 personnes. Nous avons donc eu le plus petit et doté que d'une salle de bain. Également un petit problème avec les portes car ne ferment pas et celle d'entrée frotte beaucoup au sol...En revanche très bon accueil et dépaysement total en pleine campagne avec l'accès à 2 piscines très agréables après de longues journées de balade et visites."

"The room we had was very unique with exposed roof beams, interesting art , decor , and smart new Bathroom facilities . The bed was huge and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with Yoghurt, Croissants, Pain au Chocolat, and Breads with butter and and jams as well as a platter of cold meats and cheese, and a basket of fruit. It was generally served by the most friendly and considerate proprietor who spoke good English and made time to advise us on places to visit etc. The swimming pool and spacious garden were excellent for quiet relaxation and the sun-shading parking gazebo kept the car relatively cool."
