"The house was beautiful, clean and in a great location. It had all the amenities needed. We had so much fun playing cornhole, sitting by the fire outside and enjoying meals on the deck. The grill was out of propane the first night we were there, but the property manager came the next morning and replaced it. One bedroom had the lights blown, but we discovered that the leaking shower upstairs caused it to short out. The hosts thought they had resolved this problem, but it seems to still be an issue. The outlet in the garage by the refrigerator does not work so we had to use extension cords to the other side of the garage to use it. The mini fridge upstairs does not have an outlet near it so we had to move it closer to an outlet to use it. Other than these issues everything was great. The hosts responded quickly and tried to resolve any issue we had. They scheduled a plumber for Thursday, but the plumber never showed. The driveway is a bit intimidating at first, but got easier to navigate once you got used to it. Overall, this place was just so pleasant and everyone loved it. Only issue was not being able to utilize the second shower."
ADK Lake House Vacation, Cozy 5 Bedroom & 2 Bath

"This family friendly house made our get away with 17 month old twins and a five year old a wonderful forever memory. The "vacation house" as the five year old referred to it had lots of room for mingling together while offering a quiet place when the littles were up early and the old timers were still asleep. Nice kitchen, (2) baths, (2)porches filled all the boxes. Location was ideal - close to Old Forge but nestled into the beautiful woods. It's a place I would return to and recommend for families or couples. Kuddos to the manager too - checked to see if we needed anything, also took a call when we had a question we needed a quick answer to."

"Wow a rare find in this cabin and was perfect for all our needs! The ADK decor was lovely on the inside and it had everything we needed in the kitchen! Our beds were super comfy. The hot tub was a plus after spending time at Enchanted Forest (less than 10 mins away)."

"Prior to checking in the host was attentive. Afterward I texted her a question and days later I still have no response. There was one night during our stay that we woke up in the middle of the night and there was no running water. By morning it was back on. There was one bed that there weren’t any sheets for in the bunk bed room. The listing doesn’t mention this but there is no AC. When we called the host prior to coming she gave us that heads up and said we could bring a window unit if we wanted to, which we did. The king size bed was very comfortable. The full kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, and cookware. The house was very clean on check in. We were happy to find there was a high chair and kids utensils/dishes. The separate beverage fridge/freezer was also a pleasant surprise. There is nowhere to drop trash which is a large inconvenience. Each room and the living room all had TVs which was great. Each room had closets but no dressers so we were essentially living out of our luggage for our whole stay. The wifi password is written a certain way, but we found after some trial and error that it’s actually all supposed to be lowercase. As a final note: The photo in the listing that shows the view of the lake is very misleading. There is no lake view from the house, and it’s actually quite the hike to get to the water."
