Very cosy cottage in an ideal location for touring the Peak District. The host is an excellent communicator.Just one tiny thing: it may have had dogs staying there so there was a faint odour.
Beautiful cottage and in a lovely village that was located perfectly for where we wanted to visit
Milk , fresh eggs and a yummy cake left for us which we thought was more than thoughtful!
We had a lovely stay at Townend cottage. The location was perfect for us for exploring the Peaks and the village is really quiet and peaceful. The cottage is really cosy and homely and is well equipped with everything you would need. The tea, coffee, eggs, milk and cake where a lovely welcome. The cottage was also lovely and clean, there isn't a thing I would complain about!
