Founded in the 1950s as a seaweed settlement, more than 400 seaweed workers and their families lived at the Ranch. There was a church, a school, a police department and everything this small community needed. Staying here also means taking a journey to the past, to discover the amazing life of the pioneers in this truly remote place in Patagonia back then. IMPORTANT INFORMATION \* Check In: 03:00 pm. / Check Out: 10.00 am. If case of arriving earlier, guests may use the common areas. \* Electricity: Today the supply is 90% provided by solar panels and wind power, which automatically turn on at 10 am until 11 pm approximately. If the weather is very cloudy- which does not happen often, we turn it off at midday in order to turn it on at 7 pm again, until 11 pm. Cabins have an emergency light.
