Holiday Home near Mont St Michel Bay

This lovely holiday home called Les Volets Bleus is located in the countryside and has comfortable, attractive furnishings. Great for holidays with family or friends.

Baguer-Morvan is located 30 km south-east of St-Malo. This is one of the most beautiful spots in Brittany, just outside Dol-de-Bretagne and 7 km from the bay of Mont St Michel. Dol-de-Bretagne is home to typical Breton houses and picturesque streets; like stepping back in time for a moment. A trip to Mont St Michel (40 km), Char à Voile near Cherrueix (15.9 km), the fishing town of Cancale (20 km) and the old pirate town of St Malo (30 km) is worthwhile. Coba Park, about 10 km away, is great fun for the kids.

With the nearest neighbours 200 m away, this accommodation offers plenty of privacy. You have access to a recreation room with table tennis table and a spacious furnished garden.

We enjoyed our stay but found it not suitable for our 18 month old as the garden was not properly enclosed and there was free access to electric fences and animals in the fields beyond the electric fence. It also became far too hot at night in the bedrooms (all in the eaves). However, it is a lovely quiet setting and has good living space plus a nice sunny terrace with barbeque.

(Fliegende) Ameisenplage. Sie waren überall... und man konnte sehen, dass es sich dabei nicht um ein einmaliges Problem handelte, denn die Fenster waren mit Mastix verschmiert... Der Eigentümer schlug vor, dass wir vorbeikommen und das Problem lösen könnten, wenn wir sagen könnten, woher sie kamen. ..es fiel uns auch schwer zu sagen, dass man nicht in den Urlaub fährt, um jeden Abend eine Stunde lang zu staubsaugen, weil es keine andere Lösung gab... Wahrscheinlich sogar einen Tag früher Außerdem wird für das ganze Staubsaugen extra Strom bezahlt... Nicht zu empfehlen, das Haus ist renovierungsbedürftig.

Wij hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad in les Murailles. Het huis is sfeervol, zeer ruim en comfortabel ingericht. Helaas hadden wij tijdens onze week verblijf niet het beste weer, maar de grote houtkachel zorgde voor veel warmte, ook op de bovenverdieping. Er waren maar liefst 3 toiletten, een fijn bad en 2 douches. De tafeltennis was een hit bij onze kinderen van 6 en 8 jaar. De bedden lagen heerlijk en het was elke ochtend fijn wakker worden met niks anders dan het geluid van fluitende vogels. In de keuken was het prima koken, goede inventaris, alle meer dan voldoende aanwezig (bestek, glazen, borden, alles was er). Bij binnenkomst was eigenaar Peter aanwezig voor een korte uitleg en tips over de omgeving. Er stond een fles cider in de koelkast en prachtige bloemen uit de de tuin op tafel. Het huis ligt heerlijk rustig, grote tuin en nog een apart terras waar je kan barbecueën. Op het terrein zijn 2 ezeltjes wat het verblijf extra leuk maakte. Op een half uur rijafstand genoeg te doen (st Malo, Dinan, Cancale etc.) en er zij 3 grote supermarkten op 10-15 minuten rijden. Wij hebben genoten van een week rust en ruimte en we komen absoluut nog een keer terug. Peter, bedankt voor dit fijne verblijf!

mooi huis helemaal in het groen, rustig gelegen. heel veel te doen in de omgeving +- 30 km, mooie uitstappen Cancale en dan langs de kust naar Saint-Malo, prachtig. Huis was gezellig, mooi praktisch, alleen miste ik een kleerkast boven, er zijn vooral kapstokken voorzien. Maar dat hebben we handig opgelost door gewoon alles beneden te laten bij de badkamer. zeer vriendelijke eigenaar, borgsom en eindafrekening correct verlopen.

Peter heeft het huis zelf gebouwd en is nog niet klaar. Twee grote slaapkamers en één kleine en een wc op de eerste verdieping. Beneden twee badkamers, waarvan één met bad. Een grote woonkamer met keuken. Alles is schoon en gezellig. In de avond gebruiken we de hout kachel en wordt het aangenaam warm. Ook in de bovenliggende slaapkamer. De enorme tuin/weiland om het huis is heerlijk genieten van rust en privacy. Er wonen twee schattige ezels op het terrein. Peter vroeg ons twee keer per dag een stukje oud brood te geven. Al met al een week lang genoten van de rust, de ruimte en de natuur.

Heel vriendelijk ontvangen door de Nederlandse eigenaar. Mooi huisje, rustige ligging. 's Ochtends en 's avonds wel wat landbouwverkeer, maar niet echt last van gehad. Huisje is ruim, twee badkamers, eentje met een bad. Bedden lagen zeker niet slecht. Enige minpuntje waren de stoelen aan de eettafel, deze vonden wij echt slecht zitten. Daarom steeds maar kort aan tafel gezeten. Mooie open haard en houtkachel, genoeg hout aanwezig om te kunnen gebruiken. Wij hebben het echter niet gebruikt omdat we het niet koud vonden. Het leukste van allemaal vonden wij de twee ezels in de tuin. Deze stonden ons 's ochtends op te wachten voor het ontbijt en 's middags als we weer terug kwamen voor het avondeten. Binnen een halfuur rijden heel veel te doen in de omgeving, zoals St Malo, Mont St Michel, Dinan, Cancale, etc.

Ruime woning op een groot stuk grond. Omgeving is zeer landelijk, groen en rustig. In de achtertuin staan 2 ezels die 's morgens en 's avonds gevoerd moeten worden. Erg leuk! Het huis is zeer ruim maar is nauwelijks geisoleerd. Het kan er dus flink afkoelen. Er staan door het hele huis electrische kachels. De stroom die je gebruikt moet je wel apart afrekenen. De huiskamer beschikt over een open haard (2x) die wij elke dag gebruikt hebben. Erg leuk. Het open haard hout moet je wel apart afrekenen (EUR 15 voor een week). Verder hebben we veel kastanjes in de omgeving gevonden (lekker als borrelhapje). De Nederlandse eigenaar was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is ongeveer 20 minuten rijden naar het strand waar je verse oesters ed kunt kopen. Er zijn genoeg leuke plaatsjes in de omgeving om te bezoeken. Al met al een zeer geslaagde week.

Ein sehr schönes, romatisches Ferienhaus in der Natur. Es hat einen riesigen Garten mit zwei Eseln, die zum Haus gehören, und vielen Tieren der Natur: Eidechsen, Hornissen, Eulen, Wieseln, Siebenschläfern usw. Das Innere des Hauses ist sehr gemütlich und angenehm, allerdings nicht luxuriös. Unsere vier Kinder hatten immer etwas Schönes zu entdecken.

De locatie was goed te vinden. De ontvangst was relaxed en hartelijk. Het gebruik van de ruime aanwezige apparatuur werd goed uitgelegd. Daarnaast ontvingen we diverse tips voor tochtjes in de omgeving. Al met al een echte aanrader. Een groot pluspunt is dat je zeer veel plekken rond het huis hebt waar je, naar keuze, in de zon of schaduw kunt gaan zitten. Er is ook voldoende tuinmeubilair beschikbaar en goede stevige tafels. De bedden zijn erg goed maar helaas wat kort (was overigens bekend) en ook de douche was heel erg fijn met een on-Franse straal. Vanuit de woning kun je leuke uitstapjes maken naar Rennes, bos van Mesnil, St. Malo, Dinard, Dinan, St Suliac etc. Verder natuurlijk prachtige routes langs de Rance en de kust.
