Top Baeza Hotel Reviews

Termas de Papallacta

Termas de Papallacta

10/10 Excellent
"This was a great last minute find. We rented a car at the Quito airport and drove to Papallacta. The drive was beautiful and easy. The spa and hotel are amazing. We only stayed overnight, but wish we had more time there. To get the full experience, stay for at least 3 days/2 nights. One day for the spa and thermal pools and another day hiking the National Park. Check in is at 3. Check out is at 1 but you can leave your vehicle in their parking lot and hike up the mountain. So beautiful! Words cant even describe it."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Baeza?
The best area to stay in Baeza is within the main town centre itself, particularly around the central plaza.

Baeza's town centre is compact and offers a convenient base for exploring the surrounding natural beauty. The central plaza is the heart of the town, surrounded by local eateries, shops, and the main church. Most of the accommodation options are clustered within a few streets of this central point, making everything easily accessible on foot.

For couples and solo travellers, staying in the town centre is ideal. You'll have easy access to local restaurants serving traditional Ecuadorian dishes and be well-placed for arranging excursions into the nearby Amazon rainforest or to the numerous waterfalls and hiking trails.
When is the best time to go to Baeza?
The best time to visit Baeza is during the drier months, which typically run from June to September and again from December to February.

These periods offer more sunshine and less rainfall, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty of the region. The roads are generally in better condition, and outdoor activities like hiking, river rafting, and wildlife spotting are more enjoyable without the constant threat of heavy downpours.

For those interested in white-water rafting or kayaking, the rivers will still have good water levels from the preceding wet season, but the weather will be more pleasant for these activities.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?
You can cancel your hotel reservation on Expedia, though it depends on the cancellation policy of your booking. Most bookings are refundable if canceled within 24-48 hours of the scheduled arrival. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. If free cancellation is available, you can cancel directly through your Expedia account by logging in, going to "My Trips", and selecting your reservation. To find flexible deals, filter your search by "Fully refundable property" for hotels in Baeza.
How much is the nightly rate at a Baeza hotel?
Prices for hotels in Baeza often vary, but you can find a great deal from £40 on Expedia. All sorts of factors affect price, such as the time of year or the days of the week you choose for your stay. Find the best deals by being flexible with your dates, and sort search results by "Price: low to high" for the cheapest rate.
