Perfect for kayaks and canoes. Large deck with propane grill. The river flows into Norway Lake. There is a swimming area in the river that has a nice sandy bottom and at most is around 4ft deep. It is an excellent area to lounge on a floaty or play water games. In the photos is resident dog, Nora. I also have a second cabin for rent that sleeps up to 2 adults if you happen to have a larger group. Quiet setting only minutes from the city of Pine River and amenities. Nearby attractions include: 1 mile from the Paul Bunyan Trail for biking in summer and snowmobiling in winter, 2 miles from Bluegrass Festival, 2 miles from Junkathon, 14 miles from Spider Lake ATV trails, 25 miles from Northern Lights Casino and Leech Lake. Numerous lakes nearby as well. This was a great property for me and my dog. A lot of solitude and excellent hosts. The river was awesome for cooling off and I was able to take my dog for his first water adventure, we walked in the water along the shoreline and gradually walked him into deeper water for his first doggy paddle! The cabin was bigger then expected, with a nice sitting area, small kitchen area with a dinette table and chairs, and 2 full size beds. The window air conditioner kept the cabin cool and comfortable. Eric and Becky were wonderful hosts, very responsive and available. They recommended The Red Pine Cookhouse in Emily for a night out, and it did not disappoint. I would stay here again, hopefully in August or September for the harvesting of wild rice. ##### Paul L. The dock had a bench where you could sit and take it all in. So relaxing! Comfortable furniture and bed. All clean and up to date. Sitting out on tne deck is very cool with all the wildlife. There is a grill there with propane and tools to cook with. Do not forget your bug spray the sqeters are easily checked with it. The town of Pine river is very close and very well equipped for your needs. The town folk are very friendly.
