The hotel is based in a beautiful villa on the moat just outside the city centre of Middelburg, a lovely location to spend a few days in.
There is ample private parking, and our room, in the new extension, was tastefully decorated and well equipped. The spacious bathroom had a bath and shower.
The continental breakfast buffet was excellent.
We would have liked an outside light to enjoy the patio in the evening and the switch for the central light was in the corridor.

My second stay here and it was fabulous yet again. Room was excellent, the bed you won’t want to get out of. Shower and amenities excellent. Restaurant is awesome, the food is phenomenal. Choices of drinks excellent Hospitality and incredibly friendly attentive staff. Breakfast quality is very good with a good selection of m ats cheese fruit and pastries. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, offering suggestions for restaurants, pubs and general areas of interest - even providing us with discount vouchers for the local museum! The room itself is nicely decorated and had a wonderfully comfortable bed. Everything was spotlessly clean and smelled fresh. The breakfast was plentiful and appetising - something to get up early for! Overall a very relaxing...
