It is the convent where Bernadette lived the final years of her life, and it is her final resting place. The rooms are simple and don't have some of the frills of modern hotels, but that only adds to the "retreat" quality of the experience. The peace, quiet, and beauty of the property are incredibly special."

"Perfect idyllic setting just off the N7 road. Welcoming host. Beautifully refurbished room in French style, with large excellent bathroom and shower. Woke in the morning to cows in the field next door. Lovely breakfast set up for us with good coffee, fresh bread and pastries, home made jams etc. We loved it."

"Riding the Eurovelo 6, we were looking for a place to relax and recharge. We enjoyed the little apartment with a kitchenette, and friendly, helpful staff. There was a safe indoor place to store our bikes, and shopping nearby. I hated to leave!"

"Easy to find, plenty of parking and in a quiet location. The building is shared between it's elderly residents and paying guests. Keys to the rooms were in named envelopes on the front desk. Spacious, clean room with balcony and well equipped kitchen area. "

Hamish and Tara, the easy-going owners, made us feel welcome and were always ready with tips or advice about the local area, including a great tip on a local winery.
