The hotel was great! Pools were clean, the buffets were always fresh and stalked. The staff is next level friendly and accommodating. The nightly drink specials in the lobby was a daily highlight! We loved it and would absolutely go again!

The stuff is very friendly and polite which is a big plus. The resort is on the beach so location is very nice. The beach and water are excellent. The downside is the beach setup - there are very few umbrellas on the beach, for shade. The rest are palm trees. The scarcity of the places in the shade requires people that need shade on the beach - and who doesn't? - to be on the beach latest by 6.30, guarding a palm tree where they want to have beach chairs setup. It is beyond ridiculous! Also we had to move the chairs according to the sun position to maintain shade. The buffet food is mediocre but they have enough fresh veggies and fruits to make up for it.

We had such a great time staying at the Divi. We stayed in a one bedroom in the main building everything is beautifully updated and clean! The pool area is so spacious and you didn’t ever feel like there were too many people even though the front desk said they were at 80% capacity. The beach was great and clean it was so easy to get chairs and palapas you could easily sleep in a bit and get a great spot even at 8am. We also used the grill area for lunch which was great to have onsite. The grocery store is very close by so we did a lot of cooking for breakfast and lunch onsite. Overall I highly recommend this resort and we will be coming back!

Room smelled like a waste line vent. They have to fix that. Staff wasn’t as friendly like last year. Might go back to the Hyatt worth the extra money. Also the room door you can hear everything from the room
