"What a special place in a unique setting close to Mont St. Michel! You will be pleasantly surprised upon entering La Petit Moulin Rouge - the warm hospitality of the owner, the coziness of the room and the delicious breakfast made us feel extra special. "

"On a trip with my son to visit the beaches of Normandy for D-Day as well as Mount Saint Michael, St-Malo, was perhaps one of the closest villages. It also had the peace and quiet of the countryside yet just within a 45 minute drive of all of these beautiful historic sites along scenic country roads.
The B&B is comparable to a very well run boutique Hotel. It is a historic looking building with beautiful stone work inside, except everything has modern amenities and has been completely redone,...

"The family were so lovely and welcoming. We got to meet the father who was so very interesting and shared many memories and stories of the Chateau and his family. Would recommend staying to all for a unique French Chateau experience. Also loved the five-course evening meal by the chef, truly unique."

"This hotel is nestled on the winding Main Street of ancient Mont St Michel. Loaded with atmosphere, it offers a back entrance directly to the battlements for a dramatic view of the sea. Our room was a bit tight, it ha spiral stair to a second sleeping area. The bath was tiny, requiring some planning to manage access to the WC.
The lobby is located on the second floor and our room was an additional 2 floors above. There is no elevator.
The instructions we received for parking were confusing. We wound up in the wring lot and had to pay, but all lots wer3 located near the free shuttle. We opted to walk to the island because of Fisney like lines for the transportation.
The entire island and Abby are really not to be missed and an overnight stay was magical. Be aware, food service everywhere stops early, so don’t dawdle over a dinner decision."
"A near new and clean hotel, staff were excellent and a great base to get to Saint Mont Michel and St Malo.
Excellent parking facilities, with two Ibis hotels on one site one 2 Star and the other 3 Star, both look excellent value for money."
"A very very nice and clean apartment with very helpful stuff and also great with the parking facilities. We are really pleased and recommend this hotel Tina/Anders"
"The room was very clean, well equipped bathroom, very comfortable mattress. The staffs are helpful, one helped carrying our heavy luggage and send to our room on the 4th floor in an uphill building, which we very appreciated. The breakfast is rather simple and basic, not as expected. Overall, it is a very nice hotel in Mont Saint Michel, close and convenient to what you come to. Do need to be prepared for climbing many steps and stores to you room."
"Very helpful staff and a great location for Mont St Michel which was a lovely flat 30 minute walk away (free busses are available but packed at peak times). However the hotel is looking a little tired, carpets need replacing & rooms refurbishing also there’s no lift or air con - it was very hot when we stayed. Breakfast was ok for the price although the only black tea available was Earl Grey which doesn’t suit most people’s tastes.
Incidentally the restaurant next door “La Salicorne” is excellent, we ate there 2 nights."
