Great location, but most importantly, AMAZING staff! Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. We will definitely be coming back! I’ve stayed in Catalina countless amount of times and I hate that this is my first time time staying here. It was an amazing location and they had such nice staff and super accommodating to check in and check out. I will definitely stay here next time I’m back.

We were greeted by Denise. She welcomed us and made us feel comfortable right away. Our room was clean. It is an old hotel so we knew it would have some quirks but that was fine by us. The location is prime and they provided continental breakfast. Those things mattered to us. Our door latch did not have all the parts so could not be latched but there was a dead bolt below that. Our tub was very deep and hard to get in and out of even with the hand bar. Overall we would definitely stay here again. It is a historic hotel and we were glad we found it.

Very nice old school place, I'd say it is original to the island. Three floors, no elevator, very charming. We stayed in the Errol Flynn room, King bed with large bathroom, very clean. We had excellent service from the staff. We had free continental breakfast, bagels, cream cheese, muffins, fruit, juice and coffee. They offered free bottled water, which is so rarely offered in hotels today. This place was so conveniently located to the beach, shops, and the grocery store.

This is a very old hotel . It is kept up well but I paid $600 for 1 night !! I understand Catalina but $150 hotel anywhere else . It had no view ! Good location though !

I had an excellent stay from start to finish. The service was truly outstanding—staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We were welcomed very kindly; we were able to leave our luggage in a designated storage area while we waited for check-in time. The room was very clean, and the location is close to everything—right outside, there’s a pizzeria (which is delicious, by the way! 😁), as well as a liquor store just a few steps away in case you need to pick up some snacks.

The staff is amazing. The location is fantastic. With that in mind, it is an older property so floors are squeaky, walls are super thin and you can hear every footstep on the floor above and the stairs. You can hear full conversations clearly from neighboring rooms.
