Both Maria, who I believe is the manager and Kim were wonderful to deal with at check in, This hotel is both beautiful and extremely well located on the edge of the old town… I chose the room rate to include breakfast, which I would highly recommend… I am 55 years old and it is the most beautiful breakfast buffet I have ever had in my life, complete with every choice you can think of, including exotic fruits from around the world… Such as passionfruit and dragon, fruit, and a host of others! "Truly the greatest stop of our journey through the Alps this summer. We were torn whether to stay outside the city center at one of the other communities around Hallstatt but in the end we took the plunge and stayed at Heritage and it didn’t disappoint. We were able to amble through its quiet streets at night amidst the drizzle and rain and it was perfect. Throw in a good meal at the restaurant there when the other places in town were closed or fully booked and I’d go back again and again if I could. What a magical place Hallstatt is and what a way to complement it by the hotel."
