Excellent overall. Great location, unique with birds and nature all round. Each room is different in color, size, feel. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable about Austin, restaurants, museums...assistance in any way with hotel needs. There's even a real newspaper delivered every day!! Stay connected with news and the world!!
Two tiny comments. My room that was end has somewhat weak water pressure; I'm sure that can and will be fixed.
And, the coffee place next door, Jo's is funky and nice with great staff, but coffee is mediocre and oatmeal should be improved given high quality of hotel.

Multiple days of additional charges of amenity fees and parking add up quick. Found out about the guest happy hour in the cafe on the second day of our trip, free glass of sparkling wine was nice. It was rainy and overcast for most of our trip so we couldn’t use the pool. Water seemed a bit chilly so it would be nice on a very warm day. No in room coffee. No fridge for personal food and beverage, just mini bar options. Deluxe king room was immediately behind dog daycare/boarding, could hear dogs barking the majority of time in the room even with the door shut and privacy wall engaged.
