"Restored farm house in the countryside in a farming area at the foot of the Pyrennees, very quiet and surrounded by farming area, saw a fox, many birds of prey, and some deer. Close to golf courses and famous TdF cycling routes (about 15 minutes by car). Wifi works well, hosts were very friendly and helpful. About 15 minutes from shops, restaurants etc. we enjoyed our stay, far away from the crazy world!"

"The property is first of all, NOT in Bagnere de Bigorre but in Ossun ez Angles which is 15 min drive away from Bagneres and a bit cut off from shops etc, BUT this did not bother us since the house is quite high up on the mountains, has amazing views - we used to eat on the large table outside enjoying the scenery. "The apartmentwas nice but it was very hot when we got here. There's no bug screen. so we were fiercely bitten by mosquitoes. Potable air conditioner didn’t quite work. No fan to compensate it. The apartment is on 3rd floor. Lotsa climbing. Other than that it was ok."

"We were met by Kay and Neil and made to feel very welcome. The property was just as described and Kay had left us some provisions such as milk butter etc. The gite is very well situated to explore the region, and is a 20 minute walk into the village of Madiran, which has 2 restaurants and a boulangerie. Neil was always on hand to help us out with any questions and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a nice relaxing, peaceful holiday. Jim Relph."
