We’ve stayed at this hotel before and we love everything about it- the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the cleanliness of contemporary rooms, beautiful breakfast, super location, relaxed and cosy atmosphere in the veranda with free herbal tea and apples by the fireplace), thank you very much. As a lone ,older, female traveler I must say that the staff could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and considering that I spoke very little French. They could not have been more helpful.
The room was spacious, very clean , comfortable and extremely quiet. The breakfast facilities were adequate and there was plenty of variety. Again the staff were very attentive and friendly. I can recommend Hotel Vatel and would not hesitate to stay there again.

The room was large and immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful. I had a chance to dine in the hotel and my meal was fabulous. Would definitely recommend!

We didn't realize there were stairs. That was the only drawback. It would be lovely for younger people. We did use the pharmacy and small grocery nearby

Nice place to stay for our stop over as part of a longer trip. Pool was a bonus for the kids. A bit out of it location wise but we didn’t mind. I asked for code rooms and we ended up on different floors which was frustrating but was ok.
